Good god, I haven't watched Hiatus in weeks, and nothing has fucking happened. They're still training with that boring teacher and kid with horrible character designs, and we're learning about the fighting mechanics of this world waaaaaaay to late for anyone to care. G Gundam was awesome! It was fun and over-the-top, like Gurren Lagann! Who cares if it "was Gundam in name only?" Also, Code Geass was terrible, and more like Death Note with mechs, though I won't deny the Gundam influence. Eureka Seven was pretty good, I'll grant, even if many characters were (realistically) unlikable, aside from the two leads.

Yes but Dragonball started earlier. Though again, like you said, different art style. It's a known issue with this franchise... whiny, angst-ridden teenage pilots. T_T I have a feeling I'm going to miss Mikazuki's badassery and merciless, brutal slaughter...

Okay, good, haha. That was the one on Syfy right? I tried to watch a few eps and couldn't tolerate it. The show in general, not just the Haros. Not sure I've seen any other series with Haros in them.

G Gundam is different. Over the top and a lot of fun. You might like that one. But yeah it's just one ep so far of this.

How can you not be? Robotech... T__T And Dragonball/Z was 80s/early 90s. It had a unique art style, though. Well they seem to be the main characters... x_x I just hope this main guy isn't like Amuro, the main character from the original Mobile Suit Gundam, who was an extremely annoying whiny, crying bitch. I mean, Shinji had to get it from somewhere, right?

Well, not sure about all that. Code Geass had those horrible CLAMP character designs, and the suits had like roller blades or whatever and didn't really walk, plus they were smaller. Plus the show was way more obnoxious and horrible than any Gundam series, and seemed to have some influence from Death Note. But, aside from that...

That's what makes it so great!

The art style is like classic anime! Like the original Gundam and... Robotech! It's lovely! Dunno about kids. Hopefully they won't be annoying. Don't think they are little kids, though. Teenagers probably.

Dat music. Holy... I need to get my ass back in the recliner! I'm missing some awesome action sequences and animation! So this takes place 17 years after the original Gundam? What was all that about a new century, then? Figured this would be a hundred years later. What does that 0083 and 0096 shit all mean anyway? Just placement in the timeline? But I already don't understand the timeline. x_x Heh, the art style and character designs are like 70s and 80s anime. Those times when characters were softer and rounder, and had... such hair! Speaking of, she's got some softness and roundness. 8)

Well, good luck figuring out what the hell is going on here. End of AD? Is this a thousand years in the future or something? Or they're just changing calendars because... because? And if it's the Universal Century (main/original Gundam timeline/universe), I hope there aren't any characters like Amuro.

Oh yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Just like in Indy and Hellsing, heh. And of course tons of other stuff! Nazis and the ancient evil emperor will probably both be villains.
