Unbeknownst to me, Gun Gale Online Alternative had been airing for a while, so I ended up having to have a binge-a-thon. I couldn't use Hulu because it said our account is only set up to watch on 2 screens at a time. So I watched the first 6 episodes on Crunchyroll. I have to commend Demarco for placing an ad for FLCL Progressive on Crunchyroll.

At first she says she is sorry for not killing Hidomi, then she says she is treating Ide's wounds and shows up at Hidomi house to "take responsibility." Yeah we'll see how it turns out. But pretty good so far I'd say.

I didn't know who that was. Looked her up. So she's the VA for Hidomi. She's cute! She has the headphones!

It connected from the movies but the show didn't connect back to the movies. Yeah that sounds pretty bullshitty to me. Especially given the ending of the movie. There's no way it should be that disconnected. And is Nick Fury even in the show? We don't need a whole show about origin stories. I don't want to watch a show about Batman becoming Batman, I want to watch a show about Batman. Bad enough we have to go through that every time a superhero gets rebooted in the movies, even though everyone already knows them. Never been a big fan of Flash character in general, and apparently that show got into time travel bullshit territory, so nyah. They turned Green Arrow into Batman basically. Defeats the purpose. I don't care about noname Legends of Tomorrow or whatever. Love Supergirl, though. Been watching that religiously. Fair enough. Seems the show actually does go somewhere so I will move it up on priority on my watch list.
