This show really doesn't know what to do with Goten and Trunks. Trunks is naturally drawn to swords. Monaka went from having giant nipples to small breasts? Why the fuck is there a Crate Creatures ad? Why does Bulma keep ordering crap from space?

Don't think they were bought in batches since Demarco repeatedly said they couldn't afford to do that. That's not it. The shows have exclusive deals on those streaming services. So, the broadcast rights and streaming rights are considered one in the same, or the fact it has an exclusivity deal means it can't appear on TV. Either way, Toonami can't touch it. I have no clue about any of that. Maybe Sentai simply doesn't have anything in their library they are interested in. We'll see about this Made in Abyss show, I suppose.

Now, they probably do have to negotiate with them in some cases to a certain degree, and we know this happened with Gundam. You are right that it's easier to continue a business relationship than make a new one, regardless of who they are working with, American, or Japanese. They perhaps haven't been interested in anything Sentai has as of late, or other shows took precedence. Don't read too much into things. And what is Anime Strike? The Aniplex gap isn't anything to read into either, and I can assure you SAO III is coming!

Shows what you know. It was one of my favorites. Watched it many times but had my fill eventually. No matter how much you like something you eventually get sick of it. It's wasting time, money, and resources. I'm not going to watch but the fact is I know it is. It's the principle of the thing. I basically don't think about him at all anymore and he essentially doesn't nor ever existed for me now. If someone brings him up only then do I know of him. So, I probably just won't think about Kenshin anymore, as sad as it is. Was one of my favorites and I never even got to finish it. But I won't be able to purge it from my mind, what the author did, while I try to consume the series. In 30 years people will Google the series or its author and this will be the first thing that comes up. My opinion of the series that it's a classic and a masterpiece doesn't change but I'll never be able to experience it the way I did before. It will always carry this baggage for me.

Update on that story from a while back on that dying fan that sent Kubo a letter of encouragement that stopped him from giving up on continuing the series.
