Yes lmao. Well the thing is, Demarco would pick up things the fans ask for, but then they always say they only play shows that they like. So, the show has to be something that people want, but Demarco also has to like it, and he also has to not bungle acquiring it. But then yeah, there's still stuff he gets that absolutely nobody was asking for. Also, think of all the crap that they've aired. This means Demarco and co. like Tenchi GXP (which they realized was shit after the fact, but too late,) Akame Ga Kill, Tokyo Ghoul, Dimension W, Pop Team Epic, etc. And still sticking to his "we don't skip filler!" rule, even for Shippuden. They only ever skipped some Jar Jar episodes of Clone Wars. I'd take those any day over Shippuden and Boruto! I remember someone asked him about why .hack was aired the way it was on CN and he said something like I don't know but if I was in charge I never would've ran it since I hate .hack. So yeah, if you want a show but Demarco hates it, too bad!

So, I happened to actually physically walk into Wal-Mart, personally, myself, the other day. I try to avoid it, but I had to pick up some things. I happened to go by the poster section, so I checked them out. There were TWO different My Hero Academia posters! Mainstream status confirmed? I'd like to think they were probably there before the show got on Toonami. Demaro used to talk about how Toonami was a hitmaker, as in, made shows popular that few knew about before, or increased the popularity of already moderately popular shows by a substantial amount. Those days are long gone! Demarco is almost always late to the game and dropping the ball these days! And so out of touch he thinks people want Gundam and FLCL sequels. Oh, there was also a Yuri on Ice poster, and a poster of that unholy Cyberdyne abomination Hatsune Miku (has she infiltrated this far?!) ...and a Super poster. Had to check the spelling of that and... ...Wait, there's a real Cyberdyne company now?! And you named your cyborg HAL?! YOU FOOLS!

Forgot to post my thoughts on My Hero Academia and Shippuden which I watched earlier this week, since I started Toonami late as I was getting done watching WWE Super-Showdown from Australia. Wasn't about it live at 5am! So we finally get to see what happened with that incident during Naruto's training with Jiraiya during the time skip. Other ninja don't have Tailed Beasts and seem to do well for themselves. It would be interesting to see Naruto move forward without using the Nine Tails as a crutch. But we can't have that. He has to "master his legacy" or some such shit. Bleh. Yeaaaahhhh that "frog storage" scene was all kinds of wrong. Anko hotness. Still BS how Kishimoto made her into a fatty. Underutilized throughout the series and then that! He really does hate her! At least that guy isn't buying that Tobi is Madara just because he said so. Also, brown-haired member of that clan. Think we've seen him before. Just what we need right now is for Kabuto to come in with his shit. He's becoming more and more Orochimaru-like. Seems like he got more of his powers than Sasuke did, or, he's just using and embracing them more. Zombie Akatsuki. Nice. And who is in that one? Hmm. I have some ideas. Oh come on, with Tobi's size and distance from the coffin you'd be able to see something. They drew it like it was empty lmao. So, Kabuto wants to join Tobi because he wants Sasuke because he wants to know all the things. Ok. I love the idea of Sasuke getting thrown under the bus but we all know that's not going to happen.

Have no clue what her appearance has to do with her power either. What a humiliating defeat. Serves him right for being so annoying. Not sure what his or the blueberry kid's purpose is either. Why make characters that have nothing to like about them that are just annoying? It's not like they're villains or antagonists, either. Wow, pushed her out just like that. His attacks threw off her concentration and battlefield awareness. Also she needs to be able to concentrate to use her power, it seems. That hardening power could prove useful in other situations. Pretty sure steel is harder than rock, though. Double KO. Settle it with a arm wrestling contest? What? You settle it that way? And shouldn't it remain a draw? Once the fight is over, that's it. So Uraraka was just nervous about her fight? I thought she was upset about the dirty trick gadget girl pulled on Ida. Won't take Deku's help on the fight. She wants to do it all by herself. Wouldn't that be cheating anyway though? Both this show and Black Clover have shoolgirl EDs right now, heh.

I already skipped the first big filler arc from 125-150, planning to skip the second one when I get to it. The whole show is. But I think that filler made me procrastinate and put off watching more. If I had just skipped it in the first place I wouldn't be in the boat I'm in now! It would've been pretty bad indeed. I remember when Bleach had a dub break at 167 (final episode of original Inuyasha too, hmm) I ended up watching the sub and then reading the manga. Pretty out of character for me, since I prefer anime to manga and dubs to subs, and like watching with everyone else on TV. But someone from the boards back then who was new to the series and catching up wanted to keep pushing forward, so I went ahead and marathonned past that with her, lol. I even repurposed that Hollow_Gojiro alt to participate in the Bleach manga thread LOL. Not even gonna joke when I say I think the first Fairy Tail anime may have had the worst animation I've ever seen. Lots of stills and even when there was motion it wasn't very fluid. Loooots of animation cheats. I can only imagine how some of those fights might have looked with the second series' animation! Magic Circles? Aren't those just for certain spells? Or are you talking about the recycled sequences for some attacks? I haven't noticed it being that hazy looking. I'll check the next time I watch it. Worth noting the manga art style evolves as the series goes along. I only read the first volume, but checking it against later ones, it definitely changed a lot. See-through hair is new, eh? It's in lots of anime, though. Haven't watched the movies, yet. I'll probably save those when I get caught up. I only see one movie on Funimation Now. The Phoenix Priestesses, and no OVAs. As usual, you're misinformed. The first Alicization light novel came out in 2012. If they started out as web novels first, then it's even older. I'm not going to look into it more because I don't want to run into spoilers. The games are based on the light novels, sure as hell not the other way around. I could see a possibility of the Eugeo having a crush on Kirito, but from what I can tell of the first episode, OP, etc. they'll probably just be bros. Even then, that would at least be a new kind of relationship to see Kirito in.
