I've lived next to a truck depot, train tracks, the Orange/Green lines ("L" tracks) & a police/fire station. I can normally sleep through anything - but the rain last night woke me up at least 3 times. Abnormally roaring loud. This morning they said we got 3 inches of rain (I seriously doubt it, the river nearby wasn't much higher than usual). Right now, we're under a Tornado Watch.

It was supposed to be around 86F today. 90F when I left work. The heat felt good, my desk is right where the downdraft of our AC unit is, it was 65 when I got there & rose to a sweltering 70 by the time I left. Had to put on a lined windbreaker. I hope they fix things someday.

"Cooler" today. Only 79F according to my phone, but humidity like a swamp. It's supposed to rain, but only a little misty this morning.

Just one more thought - don't let anger blind you. Now is the perfect time for those just as evil as this administration to set up fake links to non-existent anti-fascist groups & events. I expect a ton of phishing. I wouldn't even put it past the administration to do so. Emmanuel Goldstein anyone?

Today marks the 20th consecutive above normal temps day. Every time they tell us we're going to be under 90F due to a "cool front moving through", we end up in the 90s anyway. Today is supposed to reach 100F "real feel" again.
