Nah, I was never big on cinema. Besides, how "classic" are we talking? "Citizen Kane" or "A Trip to the Moon"? -
The Rams vs Bears game gave NBC its largest NFL audience since January 1994 when Joe Montana of the Chiefs beat Warren Moon & the Oilers. The audience averages were 45.4M viewers vs 41.4M. Between 9:45 - 10pm, the Rams/Bears game was averaging 52.6M viewers. Obviously, the playoff starved Chicago-area was the number 1 audience, but guess who #2 was:

I looked at some a long time ago. Came across a few attractive women in my age bracket on lavalife, but I had to sign off (after making note of the id for one of them who wanted a "nice stable relationship"). When I had the chance to go back, I apparently got into an "alternative" part of the site without realizing it. I searched for the id & the same woman was looking for a married couple to fuck. I checked & it was the same pic & id, then saw I had stumbled into the wrong section. I decided online dating wasn't for me.

Nice tribute for Johnathan Toews at the UC. He had to make 6 or 7 loops around the ice because the Hawks faithful just kept the standing O going. Game finally resumes and there's a commercial break. The crowd erupts and I have no idea why. Finally they show that Pete Crow-Armstrong (Cubs) is sitting in the front row in a red Hawks sweater...right next to Caleb Williams (Bears) in a black Hawks sweater.

Meh. Ignoring Chaos Theory, had the Bears just kicked a field goal on any/all of the goal to go stalled drives, there'd been no need for OT. Story was DJ may not have been exactly 100% after spending 20 min. in the tent. There were also plenty of hit them in the hands drops. There's plenty of fault to go around. But I would have been standing & applauding with the rest of the crowd as they left the field for the last time this season.

Apparently it's becoming a thing - when the Blackhawks beat the Blues in the playoffs, someone went around and cued "Chelsea Daggar" on bar jukeboxes around StL. This time, it was Sir Georg Solti & the Chicago Symphony Orchestra on jukeboxes at GB bars pumping out "Bear Down Chicago Bears". They used an app called TouchTunes should someone want to do the same to their team's rival.

On ESPN Radio Chicago, we've got a sports guy named Dave Kaplan. Apparently it's a thing for people on the ESPN airwaves in different cites to appear on other city's shows. "Kap" (BIG Bears fan) appeared on an ESPN radio north of the "Cheddar Curtain". The guys on the Wisc. station wanted to make a bet as to who would win the game Saturday. They said if GB won, Kap had to wear a Jordan Love jersey for the entirety of his next show. He said "fine", and said "and if we win, you'll wear a Caleb Willliams jersey for your show". Response: "I'd rather burn in Hell!" Kap offered to throw in Lou Malnati's Pizza. Response: "No!" Kap says: "Ok, I'll just go to your boss." Response: "Fine, he's right down the hall." Kap: "No - not your immediate superior, I'll go to [Kap gives the name of whoever is in charge of ESPN radio]." Response: "oh..."

RIP Glenn "Mr. Goallie" Hall (94) He set a record that may never be broken, playing in 502 consecutive games (and throwing up before each of them). https://www.nhl.com/news/hall-of-fame-goaltender-glenn-hall-dead-at-94
