Concerning the recent events of the Japanese airings

I really wonder why they bothered even having these past two episodes air at all if they conflict with the Super continuity (which was airing at the time these episodes were). Couldn't they just have made an original episode with fresh animation to smooth over the transition from Kai to Super? Actually, wait. This is Toei we're talking about, so of course they wouldn't.
