It's apparently some degree of feasible in Japan, proof positive of that being satellite network AT-X, but it has the advantage of being from anime's home country. That sort of thing's far harder to bring about, let alone sustain, in the U.S., proof positive of that being ADV's Anime Network and FUNimation's eponymous Channel (which I to this day blame for the extreme limitations on what [as] could air from those two licensors back in the '00s).
