You're partially right. I didn't have any of that "luxury" until I was twenty three. Every job I had before that was some shitty minimum wage type deal. But, instead of wasting any money, I saved up three grand for emergencies such as layoffs, plant closures or anything else that could wreck an income. Health issues? I'm not any of those compulsive hypochondriacs who run crying to a doctor for every little sniffle or sneeze. But, just to be on a safer side, I started picking jobs that included medical insurance.

I've seen that... in their mid thirties and still haven't worked or moved out of their mama's house.
