It is at this point in Super that the power scales kind of get thrown out the window if I remember correctly. Things start getting to the point where you just scratch your head and are like what? For instance here we see Trunks like being able to do stuff while just being in like a buffer version of SS2, which given his opponents not even being phased by SSB earlier in the arc makes very little sense.

Overlord has some of the best examples of well-done CGI additions. They are so good that they actually add to the scene (imo) instead of distracting from it.
