Yeah I was busy and couldn't tune in. One reason why I love watching Toonami on Saturdays is because it's the most convenient part of the week for me to plan and be in front of the TV.
So if sports anime isn't successful, how come you see like 4 new sports anime every season?!
.... don't MOST SHONEN stories involve a sport of some kind, even if it's one that doesnt exist??
I didn't forget THIS time though.
Pan like "pops dis guy don't SIT raight with me, boi, he dun' SIT raight wid me."
I didn't see the ep that follows this one when it first aired! So I will definitely catch it this time!
With around 3/4 of this coming new schedule being filled with long-running shonen and no other bizarre comedy in sight, DeMarco's claim about Toonami "branching out into other genres" sounds once again like a betrayal.
Man. Super hasn't been this high in a long time, but as usual everything after that just takes a damn nose dive. ... Oh and I see Super even beat Total Drama-rama! Is this the first time that happened on a Saturday?
.... boys play tennis in America. The anime did feel like some of the other shonen at the time too. I'm not sure where you're getting that Prince of Tennis was the most out of place.
I acted like Toonami was the one thing I thought was worthy of being watched on CN (was in college and my dorm room didn't have TV so I had very limited time to watch it), and now I realize 99% of everything they aired then was fuckin crap.
