  1. Watch the short be some grungy, dark, violent, angsty grindhouse plot I won't be interested in.
  2. It always puzzled me why most-to-every isekai goes to medieval Europe. Is Tolkien/D&D THAT strong an influence in our culture? At least HACK was more original with a digital futuristic setting. I think anime creators are waking up to how unoriginal anime is so they have been rebooting a ton of classic animes that have all gotten the BROTHERHOOD treatment, as well as adapting original stories from manga that remind you of the 90's.
  3. I really should get over my hatred of Crunchyroll owning webtoon properties, but I really can't right now. .... why was it removed from HBO MAX?
  4. Jesus. You'd think a petty grudge wouldn't be a good excuse to stop getting shows from a company.
  5. Fruits Basket (2019) Season 2 16
  6. Also this is about monsters that do not exist. I think a bit of scientific liberties are allowed.
  7. I'd love to see her try to explain Johnny Bravo.
  8. To this day, none of the five (six, now) series that have crossed over in Isekai Quartet have been run on Toonami, despite them all having dubs. Sword Art Online is the only recent isekai anime that they still run because it's the Dragonball Z of isekais. I guarantee you than if SAO wasn't even a smidgen less popular than it is, DeMarco wouldn't give it the time of day. I can't remember a single positive thing he has said about it.
  9. I hope shes the only karen who's saying all this, since otherwise it'd be yet another online shitstorm we'd have to deal with.
  10. I would've preferred Soul Eater had aired in Kek's place (seemed to be the popular opinion), but Toonami fixed that a few years later. For someone who doesn't favor Toonami a whole lot, you are apparently coming here a lot more often these days, which I do like. They kind shot themselves in the feet by always insisting they aim for the newest shows possible, because then there's this self-imposed expiration date for the Toonami crew's interest in a given show before they just ignore it completely. The rights to more and more shows are being snatched up almost immediately, so they're actually just handicapping themselves for the amount of options they have on their limited budget. I'm sure the older a show gets, the cheaper it is to acquire?
  11. We're still getting flu shots every year from what used to be a highly contagious virus all the way back in 1918. We still need to get shots for the measles, or HIV, or herpes. Any pandemic that has "ended" is still with us in some way.
  12. You have experts and CEOs thinking life won't return to some sense of normalcy until 2022 at the earliest. Dr. Fauci is even cautiously optimistic on a vaccine by 2021 but our own government is trying to silence him and the whole CDC. And if this administration is still in office after 2020, it's a guarantee they will just keep letting everyone die by 2024 when no one but them will be left. We literaly are learning new things about this virus as we go long, and it's happening slowly. If we really do get a treatment or defense, our government will not allow it to be available to everyone for whatever reason, be it an expensive medical cost, or cutting off access to it if it arrives from a rival country, or even if it's only going to the 1%. So you can at least understand why I think it will last forever.
  13. Well at least we know he can fuck like a stallion in bed. Still looks ugly.
