That's mind-blowing. 2016 had a lot going against it, but they are still at fault on their own too. 2017 is so far looking more diverse despite everyone complaining that they only run the same long-running shonen as premieres.

Hare and Guu is..... weird. Probably one of the weirdest anime comedy series that isn't by Shinichi Watanabe, but damn if it isn't hilarious.
Good eye. Amagi Brilliant Park is from the same author as Full Metal Panic, and it's a spin-off. Though in a much different genre.
It's gosh-dang hilarious.
Totes underrated, and it has a dub. 13 episodes, a solid story with an ending that ENDS, a clear goal, a satisfying climax, stupendous KyoAni animation, great slapstick comedy, and heartfelt characters.
