OR, and this frustrates me the most out of any other reasons, a one-cour anime is made solely because they wanna plug it source material and boost its sales.

I hate good pranks. Sorry, but i like to have things expected. I have enough fuckin stressful things in my life to worry about.

Me, I will never get Netflix unless they start airing anime weekly instead of uploading the entire show after it made its original run, when absolutely no one else is left to talk about it.

At this point I can't even predict anything CLOSE to what they may do.

I was devastated since I was one of the customers that had to see my service drop Funimation in 2012, but looking back, a small studio trying to run a linear cable channel on their own is laughable now. Or Fairy Tail, which has several spin-off mangas, and even a few spin-off magazines each based on one character! Or One Piece, which can done this the most successfully. Can we just assume all really popular anime are based on franchises that ALL try to become consumerist tentpole properties??

BUT he had to record while having a congested throat since actors can't take breaks during simuldubs, so he cast himself around other Funimation actors known for having scratchy voices ALL the time to compensate!

Dandy was different. Toonami had no involvement in the content or production. They just funded part of it after it was done. With FLCL 2 and 3, they're involved from the start.
