They couldn't air it as a premiere dub, so maybe all these episodes have a time limit on themselves that expires when they're clear for someone else to run them on TV?

Back in December 2017, Jason DeMarco has mentioned that acquiring MHA was not possible at the time due to competitors grabbing exclusivity to the premiere rights among other things we’re not privy to. Because of this, it wasn’t until now that Toonami was able to grab this show.
Which makes me wonder: ... what DID happen to change all this??
I am honestly not expecting it to do much- the show is available on home release, Crunchyroll, FunimationNOW, VRV and Hulu, and they been promoting the super hell out of it for 2 years now, so it's not exactly new.
Oh you. I'm sure there are things in this kickass show you'll like. Even if it IS available elsewhere already (though in-complete).
I am annoyed it wasn't Re:Zero but eh.
May the 5th be with you!! "BECAUSE I AM HERE!"
MHA will play on Toonami on May 5th, Free Comic Book Weekend and ALSO Star Wars weekend, from ep 1, and Toonami will play all 3 seasons!
It BARELY beat Family Guy, and Family Guy wasn't even that high to begin with, though we HAVE been getting more weeks where that didn't even break a million.
Will this mean we get more basketball-DBZ memes on TV?
