  1. Wanna buy a raincoat?
  2. New Year's Eve in Manhattan is going to be a bummer for almost everyone there tonight. While the local weather forecast calls for heavy rain, umbrellas won't be permitted in Times Square. Officials are only stating, "It's for safety reasons."
  3. Actually, this isn't about the lining. It's about the fee and how it's paid. I never did figure out why so many people in this group were never able to find an honest tailor while I'm now three out of three.
  4. Right until you run into some sleaze ball who pads the bill.
  5. What else could I do with somebody who just makes false assumptions about things?
  6. That doesn't warrant an answer.
  7. Had one tailor who would accept all sorts of odd jobs. He eventually closed his store and kept a list of clients that he would still work for in his apartment. He later relocated and retired altogether. Second tailor, same as the first. She even sewed a whole new lining into my coat. She passed away recently. Third tailor, does regular work such as hemming jeans, sewing on decal patches or does minor repair jobs. I haven't asked for any odd jobs yet. All have one thing in common. They quote a fee up front, before any work starts and they stick to it. None of them have surprised me with a long, padded bill. This is how tailors are supposed to work.
  8. It's another Ai creation where I used some trippy wall graffiti as the base.
  9. Weirdness is king when I'm picking cartoons. Latest added to my collection is "Stickin' Around", the complete series.
  10. Four beef frankfurters with dill pickle relish.
  11. Does it have to be?
  12. 1000018138.mp4
  13. I used to look like an extra in the movie, "Hair".
  14. Here's who really paid my wages for thirty years.
  15. Hardly.
  16. Not very cryptic. If you pay enough attention to news and commentary, you'll know who the two sides are. The kleptocrats are all about how much power and control they could gain, right down to the individual level while the plutocrats don't care what anybody does, as long as it doesn't affect profits.
  17. I didn't cross the finish line into early retirement by taking too many unnecessary risks. Fast money is always fleeting.
