i have one for cashback which is my main card, one for cashback on other things the first doesn't do so well, and the third really only for emergencies that i rarely ever touch. also one of them is really old and i can't close it because it's my oldest.

i have to give up on a lot of things i start because my desire to goof off keeps me from learning anything even when i want to learn something

eh i don't know how much i agree with that. it's a lot easier tracking your purchases with credit than with cash. i can literally think of less than 10 times i've actually needed to use cash in the last 5 years. i do agree that the high APR ones are designed to screw people who can't manage a checkbook. i have one for cashback, one for cashback on other things the first doesn't do so well, and the third really only for emergencies
