  1. Usually, I'm not a major fan of Christmas songs. However, there are some that I still do like. It's even better when there are composers with their own songs.
  2. Glad you approve. I wanted to experiment with a different type of gif rather than the usual banner or meme, that gets posted around the board.
  3. Saying YuleChristmaHanukkah blinded you?
  4. Thanks!
  5. Hope you like the pretty green snowflakes!
  6. Happy YuleChristmaHanukkah!!! Yes, I made a frankenword in green and red font. DIO with it!
  7. I remember originally watching Death Note via online streams in Japanese back 11 years ago. This was 1 year before Adult Swim acquired the English dub. Before the dub premiere, I wondered how it would sound in English, how Brad Swaile would land Light Yagami's God complex and maniacal laugh, and if the voice actors would butcher Japanese names. He and the other voice actors did a nice job. Honestly, I can watch Death Note in both English and Japanese. Death Note is a Supernatural Mystery Anime as opposed to an Action Anime, which is why it would not fit the Toonami block. The overall story seems more like a Greek Tragedy.
  8. Some posters continue to miss the point. Whether the thread is something I posted or someone else posted, it's tiring having to browse through threads with other posters wanting to derail a thread on purpose just to be divisive, minimize, and/ discredit someone for their personal enjoyment.
  9. Yeah, for now until I get bored again. It's not like much of anyone posts here. Every time I come back, more have abandoned their accounts, if not deleted them.
  10. We come back. Then, we leave again and do something else with our time. Posting in this çommunity is usually us killing time.
  11. Exactly. If they don't like the topic of the thread or the OP, stay out of it. I mostly lurk and leave. The few times I do bother posting, they always want to derail my threads to troll me and other posters yet fail to grasp why most posters left this çommunity time and time again.
  12. You can still buy a present for someone. Since the Orthodox Christians don't celebrate Christmas until January 7th, you still have time. Also, there will be more stuff on clearance by then.
  13. I can't walk in those. LOL! If it's not a square heel or a platform heel or some flats, I won't be walking in them.
  14. You don't have to break the bank to get someone a gift. If you have the rolls of cash, awesome. If you buy something for $10 or less, that's fine. You can always shop at your local dollar store and find something just as nice. For example, you can buy a mug and fill it with candy or packs of tea. That's a nice gift for $2 right there. It's the fact that you thought enough of the person to give them a gift. If you're artistic, that's even better. Last Christmas, my friend created an abstract picture for me. Then, she created the picture frame for it, put it in that same frame, and shipped it to me. Her artwork looks like it was professionally made and she's dirt poor. Whether you are a talented artist, writer, or not, as long as you try being creative with your gift giving or at least think about doing something nice for someone, that's all that should really matter.
  15. Now that I am feeling sleepy, I should put some medicine on my feet just before heading to bed. This has been a very exhausting weekend.
  16. Like I said earlier, I am glad I didn't decide to wear my other boots with the heels on them. They would've made my feet hurt more. While shopping, I wore winter boots but they have no cushion to them. They are black suede leather boots with fur lining inside of them and with slight cleats at the bottom for the snow.
  17. Last night, the most of a break we got from shopping was when we were on our way to the 2nd mall. Never in all my years of shopping can I recall of shopping at 2 friggin' malls for that many hours. I have shopped at strip malls for at least 2 hours but last night's shopping spree was a new experience for me. While we were shopping, I should've bought myself a new pair of gym shoes or something. At least they would've given me more comfort. After a while, it started feeling like someone folded my feet over like a sandwich in my other pair of boots. When I saw a lady shopping in high heels, it made my feet hurt more just looking at her.
  18. I almost wore my other pair of boots with a slight heel to them. It's a good thing I didn't. If I did, my feet would be in more pain than they have been.
  19. We spent so much time bargain hunting, that we lost track of time.
  20. The time went by so fast, that we didn't realize how long we were gone until we saw the clock.
  21. So far, we didn't encounter a ginormous mob of people at the mall last night. Yeah there were plenty of cars in the parking lot but we weren't packed inside like a bunch of sardines arm to arm. I think most people already did their shopping last month.
  22. Yeah, I know what you mean. Some people are shopaholics and it's usually women.
  23. That's why it's best to wait for the most expensive products to go on sale. Right now, Boston Store has a lot of products on sale. The sales are not limited to women's clothing. In fact, they already had sales weeks before Gray Thursday, last month. Last month, I bought a family member a necklace with a matching bracelet for only $10 each. They were originally ~$30 each. Buying expensive gifts at $10 and under is a bargain. Better yet it's a steal. Most of the Christmas gifts I bought were at Burlington. I wasn't buying for only 2 people. I was buying for literally a dozen people. Most of the gifts were for family. Some were for friends and their families. At Burlington, I get the most bang for my bucks. I bought toys, clothes, accessories, electronics, etc. for dirt cheap. Mind you, these products were originally more expensive than what they were being sold as at that store.
  24. Well, some of us older adults still like to physically go to the stores and do our shopping. I just wasn't expecting for it to turn into a shopping spree at 2 malls for several hours. LOL!
