It's just one of my favorite things ever.

there's kind of a predictable pattern now with both shows where they start it out with the "contenders" all interrupting each other in the ring (both shows did that this week, and seems like they've been doing it a lot lately) one after the other. And it's always like - the top four or the top five contenders and it's just - getting kinda old seeing it every week. things I learned from Smackdown: Jinder Mahal does not belong in the ring with AJ Styles The Usos either need a rest from the mic or they need to have their cocaine privileges revoked. Because these turnt up promos are just embarrassingly random meanderings that make me want to never see them on my tv ever again. All the women want James Ellsworth.

In the meantime though, we seem to get some new users - like a few a week or so. And then some - like 10+ bots a day trying to sign up. But basically there's no real rules on who or what or how many people anybody can invite. The plans we always discuss in terms of inviting new users are more about like when we start reaching out for more users via SEO and other such strategeries. As far as just casual invites go, we really don't have any say in that. Although, sometimes with the botscreen up, people might have to poke us to get an SN approved, if it is somehow unfortunate enough to get caught up in the botnet.

I'm waiting on KN to get us on solid server ground before we try to go for more users. And at least atm, I'm thinking about a bunch of different stuff. Basically from the beginning, we weren't going to go for any big new spooj of users until KN upgraded the server, which he was planning to do. Now it looks like that will coincide with the IPB. So we'll probably wait til that's all up before we start newb initiatives.

from what he's told me, he doesn't want any deep access or anything, he just wants to get back to having fun again and do stuff like user icons and cosmetic things on the IPB.

basically atm am getting thoughts on the situation from the admins, mods and volunteers. I've talked to Viper, and we exchanged some ideas on what to do/where to go from here. I told him I was going to widen that circle a bit and get feedback from the rest of the crew, see what they thought. Also reading the board just to see what everybody's general thoughts are. So atm sort of waiting and reading. and then when it feels like everybody's weighed in, I'll take all that and talk it over with Viper and see what we're gonna do.

Basically, here's what I think about all of it: you always wanted your own AS board, and this ain't that. So makes sense if you'd want to make a new board for that. I did trust you at one time with my data, and I did that against the advice of a lot of folks, but for reasons that should be fairly obvious, I definitely do not trust you with my data now. mine or anybody else's frankly. So, for me the quandry in staying out of it has been that I want you to move on and have fun with your own place. But also I'm a little leery that the users signing up for it maybe don't quite know fully what they're in for. My hope is that I will be totally surprised and everything will go well and it'll be awesome and people will enjoy it. But what I feel about it is an over-arching sense of dread for all involved, you, as well as the users heading over there. And even me, who is trying to stay out of it. I mean - I've let you paint my board with your side of the story and not interjected. Mostly because I just hoped you'd settle down once you made your board and maybe at least things would be okay again or something. So - that guy you were a few weeks back, if that guy needs anything, have him contact me. This guy you are right now - I'm just kind of anxious for this guy to move on with his board so I don't have to deal with his drama no more. That's 100% really how I feel about the whole deal.

We'll figure it out. We might have to set up a new section for it or something. That's one of the reasons why it'll probably be a little while between the time we get an IPB set up and the time we move the stuff over. for one thing, I'll need a little bit of lead time to figure out the admin, the volunteers will need time with the software so they can help answer any user questions, and then also part of that is going to be making sure we get the optimal possible port from here in terms of what we like transitioning over. Things probably won't be exactly the same with the new software, but we'll definitely strive to include the stuff we need and you guys want.

I just read something - like last week maybe? about Matt Frewer doing a thing. But it was like a Max Headroom anniversary thing or something. Oh I remember, it was actually a thing at George RR Martin's Cocteau Theater. It's a week long program of Max Headroom stuff and Frewer is on the panel.

crunchyroll does okay for me.

I think my Firefox is set up nice. sometimes I forget and surf on my Chrome which isn't set up for it. And it's like so irritating to click on a 2 minute trailer (already an ad) for a movie or tv show or video game or something, and have to sit through a 3 minute+ ad to get to the actual trailer. It's a crazy internet.
