watching NXT right now. Drew McIntyre is going to the top unless something horrible happens. Lacey Evans Vs Sonya DeVille. Two super diverse talents. Looking for big things from both. For as technical as these two are capable of being, they put on a fairly violent little match. Between these two, Askuka, Riot and Cross, the Women's Division has taken quite a sort of violent turn with this new class of performers. Deville takes it. Could have gone either way. enjoyable match. Kassius Ohno Vs Adrade Cien Almas: These guys are good. You know - I'm watching these two dudes on WWE's developmental brand pull off moves and just yesterday was watching Jinder Mahal botch the simplest freakin moves in his match with AJ Styles. But I digress. Ohno picks up the win (as expected), but the match was very very good. Roode closes it out with a glorious promo. Itami confronts him and Regal attempts to get between them with security. Itami chases Roode from the ring and then systematically dismantles Regal's security, eventually getting his hands on Roode and takin him down. A good segment. I still think Roode shall be victorious at Takeover. But we'll see. so far then we got for Takeover: DIY vs Authors Of Pain in a ladder match. Could be awesome. Could be tragic. This one's tough to predict. But I already think no other NXT titles will change hands, and DIY is definitely a deserving tag team, so I'm going to say DIY will grab the belts from AOP. Asuka Vs Ruby Riot Vs Nikki Cross for the NXT Women's Championship. I'm pretty sure Asuka's gonna retain, but I'm looking forward to this match more than any other I can think of in recent memory. Bobby Roode Vs Hideo Itami for the NXT Championship. Hard to tell if this match will be good or not. I like both of them. But I have to admit, their matches, while sometimes fantastic, are often hit and miss. So we'll see. I expect Roode to retain there. Tyler Bate Vs Peter Dunne for the UK Championship. I honestly think they'll put the title on Dunne for a bit. He's more than proved himself, and I think he's way flashier than Bate and better with promos. They're both good in the ring. I just think overall Dunne makes a better champion/brand anchor. Roderick Strong Vs Eric Young (w/Sanity): It seems obvious Young would prevail, but Strong may steal one here. In fact, I'm going to go with Strong for the win. He might get beat down after that. But hey, a win's a win.

also for those who had any doubts as to why we would want to abandon SMF for IPB, this is but one of many crazy wonky backend things that sort of half work one way and half work another way, and probably needed to have all the errors fixed before we could use it and be consolidated to the version and the theme etc etc etc. Basically almost everything with SMF is like this.

use the "youtube" embed button after the dice icon on your post composer and that should show up for mobile.

simple embed works from/for computers. the code works for mobile. so if you use simple, and not code, you won't see it in mobile. If you use code, you'll see it in mobile. Is how it should work. so this: should work on mobile this should work on computers.

Thanks for offering, but we're going to take our time and try to get it right and make sure everybody's comfortable with the software etc. So KN is going to let me know when he's ready, and then we're going to go learn the admin stuff, and then we'll set up a test board for volunteers so they can learn the ins and outs. Then we'll let everybody know our exact moving day/time and how long the board will be down for (and open up the Proboard for that period so people can hang out there if they want). Basically when we're ready, I'll PM and let you know the test board login and stuff like that. Because we'll probably be jacking around with the test board for a bit before we actually do the transfer.

I notice the simple embed is out of date, so updating that to the newest version to see if that'll work. Honestly, if not, I think I'll just turn the other one back on. Because while autoplay is annoying to some people, it'll probably only beee like another few months before we're on IPB.

I'm unclear what you're saying, because I can see the videos your posting in the post. so - don't know if you're saying they're not showing up for you or something? but I can see the videos in your post and also play them from your post.

It's exactly the same thing you'd be doing but without the extraneous code. so, instead of videourl[code code code whatever code] all you need to do is paste the video url.

1. navigate to your youtube video. 2. copy the url (example: https:// www.youtube.com /watch?v=YNVqbcrWFII = without the spaces) 3. Paste the url into your post. and it should just do this.

all you have to do is post the url of your video. It should just appear in your post. so just "http:// youtube.com / videoxxfffatl85hpghshwhatever" just whatever the url of the video is. and it should just embed.

when the board was first set up, it was set up so that all you had to do to embed a video was post the url. then we had other people adding plugins that sometimes did the same stuff, which led to multiple ways of doing the same thing. Which isn't so terrible. If not for the number of autoplay complaints (which isn't like overwhelming or anything, but it's consistent), the fact that it's more or less only used to troll, etc etc. So - basically if we keep the url embed and ditch the other one, people can still post vids like they always could from the beginning, and also it cuts some system fat in that we probably don't need multiple plugins doing the same things, and also gets rid of the autoplay thing.

basically I didn't much care since we're headed to a new board. But it's been a thing for awhile now as far as a source of regular complaints, and also we really don't need multiple plugins that all do the same thing. And I had a few minutes to do it, so I did it. It was on the list.
