  4. again this week, for me the best matches were women's matches. MITB repeat was good. But for me the match of the week was beyond a doubt the Asuka/Cross Last Woman Standing match on NXT. They went for about a half hour. Some incredible shots. They're amazing together. And also individually each of them are among the most dynamic performers in WWE right now. took it in the ring, out of the ring, chairs, tables, trash cans, ladders. Nikki Cross outside the ring, way up near the broadcast area, set up Askuka on a table and then set up a ladder - this waaaay back from the ring, kind of off to the side of the entrance ramp/curtain area. Watching the announce team scramble as the two climbed the ladder next to the broadcast table was kind of funny. Askuka suplexes Cross from the top of the ladder through the broadcast table. Askuka makes it to her feet just about as the referee reaches 10, winning the match. Fantastic.
  5. just look disgusted at the other one and say "WHAT KIND OF JACKASS LETS YOU BUY EM FOOD AND DOESN'T PUT OUT!?"
  6. It's like I'm in some alternate dimension where imagery and art matter to storytelling again. This was crazy in the sense that - you know, for decades now I've been a media junky and watched 10,000 different people struggle to tell stories. And in almost every case, the roadmap they use is to just do the same thing everyone else has always done when they tell stories. So really, there's like only a few stories, told over and over again by different people almost. Seeing this is like being dimensionally displaced. Especially now, in the internet age, when I always feel like everyone is rushing to be like everything else. Like in entertainment, we're down to a very small number of conglomerates now that own almost everything. And audiences seem to not even be aware of what they're taking in. Almost behaving like flocks of birds, when one takes wing, the rest do to, not quite knowing why. Taylor Swift is at 9bzillion likes. Like the new Katy Perry video on Youtube gets liked by 100s of thousands in it's first hour online. Stuff like that. Even "alternative" stuff is generally people who don't really know what they're doing stumbling around parroting their favorite movie/TV show, tossing in memes and tropes they think might make it more popular etc. It really has become literally impossible to find something new. And then this happens. Twin Peaks has been a creative blessing in general with its rare genuine individuality. But this episode was just light years beyond even anything it had done up to this point. It's amazing and beautiful and frightening. And telling a story, allowing that story to be utterly itself. Not trying to parrot you back to yourself in an effort to be liked and shared on social media. It just is this strange, scary, uncompromising, refreshing, free thing. Each image on its own is astonishing. Strung together they evoke emotion. The emotion settles into thought. It's hands down the most brilliant thing I think I've ever seen anywhere in entertainment. By not holding my hand and walking me through it, it stays with me in a way that other stories do not. By taking all the signs down, it forces me to figure out what is what and where to enter and where to exit. It feels like the world has become a place where people are constantly trying to tell you what to do, what to think, how to feel, and everyone needs to be like everybody else, do what they do, like what they like, whether that's a pop culture mass, or a niche group of flat-earthers, it feels like everybody has gone as far as they need to go. Nobody needs to think about anything else. Just surround themselves with that sort of safe space of agreeable routine. This just isn't having any of that. It does it's own thing. Isn't like anything else. It's alive. It's going to go farther than it needs to, because that's where the challenge is. It's not agreeable. It's not safe. It's not routine. But also it never feels aggressive in those elements. It feels very childlike, almost naive sometimes. And then other times very menacing. Such an amazing combination of things. I'm blown away.

    Cloudflare

nope. I never said a thing about cloudflare.
  9. the sperm is the thing. it doesn't really matter what you are, as long as your sperm is that.
  10. So I think I'll lift the bans over the weekend. I want to see how the server thing works out this Friday. Then I'll catch up with some stuff after that.
  11. or else zombie sperms. like you shoot sperms they just make zombie babies instead of regular babies. I mean zombies happen. There's a lot of movies about it.
  12. I recall something about the rights in the US being messed up or something such that Toonami couldn't air it in the US. Don't know if this means it's just easier in South America, or something or someone actually untangled the rights issues.
  13. oh holy fuck I'd totally forgotten about Funcoland that place was fucking awesome.
  14. Humans got all kinda problems. We have short attention spans and quick tempers and are easily distracted and all kinds of other stuff. And yeah, it makes me mad when you go off like this. But also I get it. And I know it'll happen some more. The trick lies in trying to understand the departures, and not letting things get so bad that you can't come back. You should definitely make your board this time. I think you need to. But you can come back. I don't mean as a volunteer here or anything like that. Just as a person. You can come back. And if you need us, we'll be here.
  15. I think again, you just wanted your own board. Most of the other folks, are just into helping out. But you want control of stuff. So it bugs you more when stuff isn't going the direction you think it should. I think that's because you kind of wanted to do your thing, not somebody else's. There's nothing wrong with that. I would say there's something wrong with the level of demonizing you're doing of me and this place. It's misplaced and it's not particularly necessary. I think what's real is you just want your own thing. You don't have to stab anybody in the back for that. Just go do it.
  16. you're welcome here. It would make it easier on me if you wouldn't bash me or the board so much. I mean, seems weird that - like everything's cool. Then NOTHING IS COOL. Then everything's cool again then NOTHING WAS EVER COOL. Just let things be what they really are. You probably need your own board. You probably always should have done that. The last time this happened, I think I said the same thing.
  17. Give us a few months. we got plans man. They just get derailed sometimes by drama like this, which we shouldn't allow, but honestly it's tough to navigate when a friend just freaks out and not only turns their back on you, but actively tries to blow you out of the water.
  18. How about this: SMF was designed by - let's call them the SMF people. It's a software package. I've pretty much configured most of it. KN handles the server stuff. The theme, which you claim credit for, is called "Facade". it's called that because the person who designed it (not you) decided to name it that. We had another theme that we were using because it worked with all the plugins. You kept throwing fits because you wanted us to use Facade. So I told you if you could fix the plugin errors, I'd use it. You fixed the plugin errors for facade. Which is awesome. But it was basically you doing stuff you wanted to do in order to get something you wanted. And yeah, you seem to like to claim credit for the whole thing, and I shouldn't be letting you do it. But fuck man. It's hard to know whether to just let you run your mouth or step in and set the record straight. Seems like neither option ends well.
  19. what else do you ppl want from me. Like I have to talk to you now too? or - connect or - what even is that? Here's the best I can do: If I'm reading a thread because I am invested in the drama occurring therein, and I have like an hour and (looks at clock) ten minutes of nothing much to do (even though I maybe should be working on something), and you mention me, I will MAYBE acknowledge you. But I just don't feel right about connecting. that just seems alien and wrong.
  20. pooh pooh..... say his kid owed you 20 bucks.
  21. :poop: :post: gotta go somewhere
  22. you can hang here, but the drama/trolling will have to stop.
