The new VA is some Daily Show rookie who isn’t Laotian. He’s not white, but he’s not Laotian either. I kinda blew a gasket when Amy Wong’s dad got replaced because.... did the executives just not see the fucking character design and how it’s racially charged by nature? So what’s the fucking point of putting a normal voice to something that vividly screams it’s a racial stereotype? That’s sorta where I’m at with this. If the character was made to be boastful and over the top with his voice then get this talentless douchebag out of the recording booth and don’t bother using the character again.
