Yeah I'm quitting Toonami until the block stops being so awful.

I'm referring to the "Show is COOKED" attitude you've expressed. These shows aren't made to generate popularity, they're here to fill up the HBO catalogue. And they're so cheap to make that nobody cares how successful or failed it is. Every show is a sunk cost, after all.

I would much rather it end than keep being dragged along like this. We don't even need Toonami to get anime on CN - Death Note and Code Geass proved that long ago.

Aaron Rodgers is turning the Jets into his cult of personality like Lebron did with the Cleveland Cavaliers, and he's having anyone who pisses him off ejected from the franchise. It's not a normal situation. Meanwhile look at the Raiders rehiring Jon Gruden for a decade until he was forced out by homophobically insulting the NFL commissioner, Jeff Fisher's wrath of mediocrity on the Rams until his extension was leaked, or Ryan Pace's tenure on the Bears.

Demarco will never get fired. WB has shown time and time again that they do not care what they're producing anymore quality-wise, as long as it can be something they can use in their ads to draw people to their streaming services. Even for all his screwups, firing and replacing Demarco would cost more money than letting him stay, same reason bad sports teams never fire incompetent coaches or general managers. All we can do is pray that something happens that forces Demarco to stop being involved, like a health scare or a really, really big scandal.

36 chapters into Death Note. Finding the manga fun and the current scenario intriguing, though I am bothered by how the events of Chapter 33 played out.

Man, Ninja Kamui feels like a show that could've been perfectly alright if it didn't shoot itself in the foot with the heavy CG use. You set up your final boss fight to be two superninja against a ninja wizard with Force powers, and then the fight ends up being three pallete swaps of the same CGI model smacking each other kinda slowly with Advent Children swords and the only ninjutsu used are dream sequences. At least Mike got a satisfying finale on the side. Emma dying how she did still feels like a mistake, but at least we get to see Mike kick Joseph's ass. Still can't believe Demarco managed to survive the entire show.
