Okay, more Primal reruns is mhey. But I am still stoked on MHA being doubled up.

Yass! Alan Cumming's portrayal of Nightcrawler was IMO the break out character of X2. He was my fave in that movie, even though I loved everyone! Honestly, both X-Men and X2 had amazing ensemble casts. Not just Cumming, but Ray Park (Darth Maul in Star Wars, Toad in X-men), Bruce Davison, Rebecca Romijn, and BRIAN fucking COX as Striker, who was the best villain in X2, as well as the rest of the cast.. the acting was just perfect all around.. The whole cast in both movies was phenomenal. I never felt like they were trying to over explain the plot and yet it was so easy to follow and was not too much over the top for a super hero movie. X-men and X2 were honestly part of the reason the super hero movie genre had a revival after the 90's, and I feel like not that many people recognize or even realize that today. But they will always be my favorite in the genre, even though I do not really like super hero stuff to begin with! So good!

Forgot how much I loved those movies. I am not big on super hero movies but I have always loved X-Men and these two movies take me back to high school times. Pure Nostalgia. Ian Mckellen, Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Anna Paquin and more. Not to mention the cinematography and editing and even effects are are good for the time. I know they are not everyone's cup of tea, especially with all the super hero saturation of more modern times but I still love them.

Well I have withheld any real opinions or beliefs until now, and even so, left them rather vague. I even mentioned that we will have to wait for more information, if any, to come to light. I do agree thought, that if [as] and others do not want Roiland back, but he tried to sue, that he will probably lose. But you never know. I am curious if [as] tries to get him back but I doubt that. I think they are already moving forward without him.

Hm, interesting, though I cannot say that I did not have a suspicion that this would be the result of the domestic charges. Roiland seems to feel vindicated based on his statement. But I wish he would have made a more direct comment on the grooming allegations. Maybe he will in the future. Looks as though he is going to try and get back to some of his projects. Reddit and Twitter seem to mostly still hate the guy, but I guess that is to be expected. Not sure how many of the fans that subgroup represents but I do not think it is a majority. My current opinion given this development is that a lot of people will not see this as a sign if innocence since the charges were only dropped due to lack of evidence. Does that mean they will care? Who knows. In terms of the DM's and gross comments he has made on podcast's ect., I am not sure how to feel. Anyone can fake anything on the internet and maybe some of the comments were in jest or to purposely rile people up but on the other hand they seem to be coming from many sources. If they are true then he is definitely gross but at the same time it might not be true. I guess we will have to further wait for more info to come out, if any, and wait to get a better gauge of general public opinion. As to whether [as] tries to bring him back or not, IDK. I thought they were already working on the next season without him. Does he have any legal recourse in those regards? Will he just collect money off of it and sit back uninvolved? If they do try and bring him back it seems that he will indeed have the upper hand..

Lets go! I usually fall asleep soon on a Sunday but I am staying awake for this one!

I would KILL to have Bebop or GitS or any of the old school anime come back for another rerun. Yashahime too, as that seems like an obvious one since S2 has not even had a rerun yet haha I know that a lot of the neysayers and doomers will bitch about reruns, but they seem to bitch about EVERYTHING. It would make more sense to me to have the block extended until 4 or 5 in the morning as opposed to running Ballmasterz or back to back Futurama (as much as I love Futurama). I mean how much ratings are they getting in the wee hours of the morning anyways? Just give us some Bebop or any anime reruns. Having the block essentially only 2 and half hours, since Primal is not really even anime, is my only real compliant with Toonami right now. Of course we would all love more premiers, but we got Food Wars and MHA right now, and I am sure we will see new changes in the coming months. Lets get the block extended a bit again and utilize some of the reruns that they have available to them. Bebop and GitS are classics and have always been some of my faves. I miss the days when the block would come on at 11 or 12 and go all the way til 5 or 6, even if it is reruns early in the morning. Those early mornings, posting in Action and IB with the block winding down and reruns of some of my faves playing in the background, were some of my favorite memories haha

LMAO I loved him in the first book. The end where he is slowly dying and going between profound insights and morphine fueled rants over the walkie talkie is soooo good. Gonna have to reread that soon!

Well guys, that was a good block tonight. MHA was pretty good and I am glad to have back the ecchi madness that is Food Wars! Gonna hit the sofa and watch the rest of Toonami/[as], though I am not as excited for Primal again haha I might pop in and out for a bit before I doze off, though I did not really get much good sleep last night. Night everyone!
