Best So my favorite thing about the block this year is MiA. Getting even season 1 was a surprise to me and the fact that they got season 2 is even better because it has long been one of my favorite manga and the anime is nearly perfect IMO Really glad about getting the new season of MHA as well. I actually enjoyed Housing Complex C, and while I think it did suffer from being rushed, I still liked the story and thought that the animation and voice acting was really good. The vibes and atmosphere it created were really good too IMO and that is something I consider pretty greatly. I also enjoy the marathons if it is something I like haha was glad to see the Batman movies marathon as well as MiA, MHA, etc. and I am definitely looking forward to FLCL!! Worst The general axing of content from [as]/Toonami as well as the recent downsizing of the Block is my largest complaint. I do not need an entire block of premiers and would love to see a longer line up like we had back in the day even if a lot is reruns later in the night. Wish we could go til 5 AM or something haha but I get it that not everyone is down with that. Other than HCC, I was let down with a lot of the originals. I thought Shenmue was okay, but it was not my cup of tea. Uzumaki is still in whatever development hell it has been stuck in, so the jury is still out on that. I do not expect much from the new FLCL sequels either. Those are my only real complaints. I am not hard to satisfy and I am just glad [as] and the Block are still around. These are just my thoughts. Future Hopes So obviously I am hoping that next year they can acquire something big that we are not expecting like CSM or SXF or Mob, and maybe something that is more of a slow burn like Call of the Night or something. AoT and maybe even TYBW can probably be expected next year but I always love being surprised. I also hope that they block can be lengthened later into the night. It does not have to come on earlier, I actually prefer it starting around 11-12 est. Even if it is with reruns. Hoping that after this year the WBD axing will slow and maybe we can see some promising things. I am a hopeful person. I realize these are just my opinions and may not suit the likes of others!

Sorry, I promptly died last night haha So Hell's Paradise completed back in '21 I think? Its got like 13 volumes and a little over ~120 chapters, so not too long. It is a great story and has beautiful illustrations as well. Amazing characters and world building.

Yea, The Sages and the villagers used to be human but when Belafu became a Hollow he was basically going insane for reasons not shown yet haha at the current point in the story his reasoning has definitely been twisted. Plus he his huge and scary and has weird tentacle stalk thingies that come out of his 'eyes', which are really not eyes at all, but two mouths! So, Ozen specifically states that time dilation in the Abyss becomes particularly noticeable once you get past the fifth layer. She says that she went to the fifth and spent what she thought was only a couple weeks down there, but when she returned to the surface a few MONTHS had actually passed. We also know that the Ganja Squad arrived at the Abyss ~1900-2000 years ago surface time. But the village itself was created 150 years ago in 6th layer time. So down in the 6th time dilates by like a factor of 13! If Lyza is in the 7th layer, or even possibly deeper, and given that time dilation increases further with depth, then it could be easily possible that she is still alive down there. She departed on her final dive about ten years before the current events of the story surface time, and if time dilates by a factor of 13 or greater down in the 6th layer and below, then from her perspective it is possible that only a year or two or even just several months have past. Do keep in mind that Ozen said the letter that Riko has was not actually written by Lyza, so she may not be alive, but it is certainly a possibility! I have this silly idea/theory that due to severe time dilation, that all of the great cave raiders who went on there final dive are all arriving at the very bottom of the Abyss at nearly the same time and that they are all just chilling down there haha
