Very much agreed. Once you acknowledge satire and parody as two different entities, then you can start separating series that fall into either category. For example, Panty and Stocking is a satire (deconstruction/subversion) of Mahou Shoujo. It also had a few individual episodes that were parodies of Transformers, Saving Private Ryan, and zombie movies, but that didn't mean the whole thing was a parody. The whole is a satire with parodies peppered in.

JBA: Diamond is Unbreakable Episodes 20-25 Which included the anime debut of my favorite JoJo villain AND stand! It was a good week.

Having fun watching the Part 1 dub, though Jonathan, who is my least favorite JoJo, irritated me a bit. Way too goody two-shoes for my taste. OP and ED are still the best parts of Phantom Blood. ;D

Jonathan is definitely the most whitebread of all the JoJos. He's basically a standard heart of gold shounen protagonist a la Goku. The conclusion to his fight with Blueford is a good example of that with how "I knew you had some good in you!"
