  1. Already ready for the rematch lol
  2. Not so fast, since Black Clover's on at 1am instead according to my cable box looks like instead of the double Bebop, since there's only one ep this week at its usual time.
  3. Showtime! That's a weird bit of schedule 11:30-12
  4. Correct. They actually showed the first ep of the 3rd series (FLCL: Alternative), since we're actually supposedly getting Progressive first and then Alternative second. Seems understandably confusing since, like you said, that Japanese trailer that was cut in half between both upcoming seasons, had them in the opposite order compared to how we seem to be getting them in the US. Meanwhile the US trailer combined footage from both to make one trailer for both upcoming seasons. I'd say Progressive also looks a little more familiar to the first show in terms of even more focus on over-the-top-ness, at least in that footage from the Japanese trailer to me. Demarco also tweeted that both Progressive and Alternative are rather different from each other, which is to be expected since they each have different staff, so they seem to be expecting that some fans will favor Progressive or Alternative or vice versa. https://twitter.com/Clarknova1/status/980305218935099393 https://twitter.com/Clarknova1/status/980611580571410434 Yup, I liked it as well. I'm also glad it didn't do anything like "betray" the style or themes of the first show, which anime sequels weirdly tend to do sometimes. And for those who were waiting for a more familiar feel, I thought plenty of the classic feel started seeping in more toward end of the first ep as Haruko broke more into the story when she came into the shop (and the Pillows music started to get louder) and then at the end where she broke into the action. Given how that played out I expect the future eps of Alternative, beyond this first one, to be more crazy as their slice of life story further merges with the usual FLCL insanity.
  5. Nicely done! Just saw it myself and was coming to post it if no one else had yet I agree the Part IV one was better and just so damned slick looking, but this new 3D but very pixel style one is still very cool and the style really fits well and is a lot of fun, even despite being a little choppy a couple of times at least on Youtube. This new intrumental version of the classic theme is also very good too, though for perfection I wish they'd still have thrown in a few of the vocals at the very end of it, just for that extra properly epic touch. The shot of all of the cop cars coming over the hill was really fun, along with Lupin's car going into space to put up that spy satellite lol, which he of course then uses to check out Fujiko on the beach LOL.
  6. I just know him from movie reviews on youtube, along with Jeremy Jahns since I check out a lot of their movie reviews.
  7. Heh, nice. Even Chris Stuckmann apparently tweeted out back when he saw Mind Game suddenly on Toonami lol. Amazing how many longtime Toonami watchers still tune in at least sometimes, even the ones who've made it bigger loI I still remember watching his video when he went through his anime shelves highlighting some titles.
  8. Apparently FLCL did a good job trending tonight with the teaser premiere
  9. Nice action scene. Can't wait to see/hear it with Kari Wahlgren's Haruko.
  10. Yup, and looks like the Major has finally found some data that directly links the C.I.S. to things when investigating that guy's dive. Which is Goda's unit. Yeah those girls were robots That cliffhanger is so good. Now it's his turn, let's see how he fares.
  11. They played this once right? That bump image looked familar?
  12. Nice. I should watch it again over the summer.
