Yeah, good point, that's probably why it ended with the hug with some closure and then moved on to little epilogue bits for the non Haruko and Jinyu characters, since it's the end of the current story. That said, and I'm going to need to watch this more than once (especially now that we know they're split), I think it makes at least partial sense "in the moment", they might even be back fighting after the ending point of the ep like you said too. It seemed like a pretty Jinyu thing to do, being the mostly more mature "side" or whatever they actually are. I'm guessing since they're connected in some way, despite their clear differences, it fits that Jinyu probably still understood why she was crying in that moment after Atomsk left again, rather than the hug meaning agreeing with the trouble she's causing or anything, or ending their conflict. Soon after, they'd probably be back at it with Jinyu trying to keep her in check and from causing trouble for others again. Or something like that. A final funny scene would have been cool (would have loved a shot back at a rebuilt cafe with her and hidomi and her mom), but I think that big monologue to Ide was in Jinyu's voice after she came back, so it's not like she didn't have any lines in the ep I think.
