Yeah, I saw both kinds during the chase but yeah that one didn't seem to be the light getting blocked kind, I agree. There were parts during that chase where he seemed to be in shadows and then it'd brighten a bit around him as he came out of them, but even then overall the whole sequence was darker than the usual rest of the animation.
