I've occasionally used live action images as a pose reference myself, but I don't trace other artist's work, you don't actually improve by tracing, figuring out how to capture a dynamic pose yourself is how you improve as an artist

you know speaking to the fans of Darling in the Frankxx on tumblr (of which there are increasingly few of) they seem.....insane half of them claim the show is some sort of government funded Japanese propaganda meant to improve Japan's declining birth-rate by "making heterosexuality cool again" (these are in fact the FANS of this show saying this mind you) and the other half are accusing me of being a Biphobe for thinking Mitsuru and Ikuno's storylines are homophobic

I still see plenty of Klance art so that's not true they just shut up because they decided to accept that the show's writers aren't adding any same sex pairings ever

actually my issues with Voltron are similar to my issues with Darling ....although VLD isn't ACTIVELY being Homophobic the way Darling is VLD just didn't realize gay representation would be something the viewers would appreciate and they feel it's too late to add any gay storylines at this point so they won't whereas Darling is actively soapboxing a message that if you aren't straight and aren't fucking opposite sex partners and making babies you're a terrible and useless person

to be fair the evidence for it being a lie is pretty substantial namely the fact that the first person to make the claim was Tara Strong makes it not believable....because she's known to be a casual troll to her fans on Twitter

apparently the crew of the show keep tweeting out that if the Teen Titans Go! movie is a box office hit they'll revive the original Teen Titans show and give it a 6th season pretty much nobody believes them, nor do I think they should belive them though it's amusing that they're so afraid the movie will fail that they're trying to trick people into going to see it by promising to bring the orignal show back

Aka the guy who collabed with Toriyama to write DBsuper and design half of it's characters namely he's being accused by some fans of out-right plagiarism....due to them doing extensive research and discovering that his manga adaption of Super is largely an actual trace job of various panels and sometimes whole pages from the DBZ manga it could, in theory, also explain why the Super manga cut half of the series battles (Namely ALL of Vegeta's battles are cut in the Super manga) it's because he couldn't find action poses to trace he thought people would overlook

all the characters are composites of various popular shonen characters/tropes Asta is Naruto with a Goth color pallate and a little bit of Natsu's personality thrown in and Yuno is Gray's personality with Sasuke's looks
