i watched all the cartoons that i could as a kid. after school watched cartoons. saturday morning wake up early to watch cartoons. then you had cartoons that had big theater releases. big fan of the disney movies from the late 80s to throughout the 90s. fox and wb also had a good run in the 90s as well. even pbs had some good ones.

haha they scared me again last friday! stop trying to win meaningless games! just lose the season out and get a 1-3 pick and do this rebuild right. one win gets us in the 4-8 range which removes us entirely out of getting a qb! now that said, the team is far away than just being a qb away from competing. but we still gonna need a qb! makes sense to get one when the opportunity presents itself. 

but yeah i definitely feel you over organizational level dysfunction. unfortunately you cant switch owners. you can only hope they get lucky and hire someone who knows what they are doing. or they die of old age and the team gets handed over to someone that knows. but jerry jones still around so it could be awhile. 

i have fully embraced the tank. 

at this pace, we will get 1st or 2nd pick. we need a qb! sorry pooh but i think rodgers gonna win a game or two to ruin your tank lol.

Just like in this thread where we’re dragging Distorted and MD for their terribly myopic and poorly formed takes.  If Democrats do the hard work at the local and state level, and we can prove that our concept works, but these people will continue to point out flaws or manufacture issues to disprove it.  You can’t have discussion with stupid people;  they don’t have their own vision for America, just a vision that is easily sold to them, usually of a world they’ve seen before.  There are stupid people on all sides, even liberal; it’s harder to share a vision with stupid people when it involves thing they’re unfamiliar with.  That’s the real takeaway from this election.

whats so bad about my takes? reading some of the responses here, its looking like some agree with what i was saying about why the dems lost in these elections. 

speaking of poor takes, here you are talking about not regretting W when he was the one that dealt the greatest amount of damage to the country. middle east wars, the great recession, patriot act, hurricane katrina. i don't know how you can call that administration anything other than a catastrophic failure.

first order of business, after he pardons himself, is gonna be tariffs on china and other countries. the tariff thing will not work out the way they think it will, and it will accelerate inflation. the hope is to bring back companies to the US but that seems almost impossible this day and age. 

immigration situation will be given attention to almost immediately. ramp up on deportations kicking people out of their homes. this we will all need to fight and support our immigrants. by we, of course im talking about all forces on the left. 

i think russia/ukraine peace deal could be in the mix early but this remains uncertain. he wants to get out of that war, and the writing has been on the wall for quite a while so would make sense to end it now instead of keeping it going. but depending on which war hawk joins his party, they might insist on keeping this going. of course, trump will try to use this to get russia to turn against china, but that wont work since both countries have a very close relationship these days. 

middle east situation is gonna be a green light for israel to do anything they want. most likely seeing an escalation with more provocations towards iran and other resistance forces. 

latin america will also be under immense pressure. cuba, venenzuela and haiti will be facing more coupe attempts and other forms of destabilization.

 The last time he was president, he appointed actual serious people (mostly). Hell, Preibus was his first COS. There were some adults in the room who kept soooooo much of his buffoonery at bay. Trump has stated what a mistake he thinks that was. This time around? It’s all sycophants (AT BEST) and outright bad people at worst. Who is bad? The people who are going to cause harm to others for their own personal gain, without a second thought. Those are going to be the people surrounding him this time. I’m so glad he will have the niuclear codes! Oh and RFK jr.

i know it wont be apples to apples, was just using as a baseline to paint a picture. situation in the country and the world has changed a lot since then. bottom line, the country is in worse shape now than where we are now. that was under a democrat running the show. this is what harris needed to do. talk about the economy. how she's gonna make it all better. her campaign was the same as clinton's which was all based on her not being trump. it didn't work for them in 2016, 2020 was the FU to trump since more people showed up. 2024, harris failed to motivate people. the 3 elections has showed us you cant run on a candidate and say, he's hitler, and expect to win.

that should be more of an indictment on the system we live in more than anything. cant even guarantee basic rights like abortion. obama ran saying he would codify roe v. wade which he could have, and what did he say? not high on his priority. also i recall a certain progressive supreme court judge not retiring right before obama term was over. instead choosing to keep her position until she no longer could due to an illness. to which at that point trump was in office.
