This is true. Mostly Overwatch and Destiny 2. A few play fortnite and every now and then a random Halo night will occur but that's mainly with the old crew. (gunstar here, axle, rampager, bleachfan and molar. I was in the party for the last one but didn't join for that one but I did do some in the past.

Yep he's around. His schedule clashes with most of the group now. Most of us get up early because of jobs and such whereas he works all night and sleeps in the afternoon and evening. Every now and then I see him when he is off.

I assume this means you are helpme in which case I now realize I probably don't know anyone on here with a different name. I could have been someone completely different.....but apparently I must have a certain posting style because people could always call me out on alts back in the day immediately.

Those Boards are dead! As Axle would say, stop talking about the Boards!

If I ever try to get a job as a reporter in real life this is my reference.

When I saw this thread my first thought was oh lord Rogue made this, it might be rule 34 stuff, then I was like oh wait he wouldn't post stuff like that because he's a mod or something on here now. Then I remembered you were rogue and I was like he might have.

Go with whichever one has more exclusives you want and/or where most of your friends play.

I think they are fun to play. Not sure how good I am with them but I like them.

I don't think sohadow would care if I said anything but he has his toonami chat discord but it is primarily being used for smash right now. We could use that? I can link it next time I sign into it or he can if he wants and if he is okay with it.

So I played some of the quick play and I must say I do like it. It is much improved from the Wii u version. I always hated how in that version the for fun section was always 2 minute matches. I thought those were a bit too short. 5 minutes was more what I was wanting. Well I was actually wanting stock matches but you had to do for glory for those. Couldn't have it both ways. In this one you more often than not will find matches that are to your liking. It has a nice variety by picking the rules sets for different matches. I had some matches with items and stage hazards, others no items and battlefield style. Some were 3 minute matches others were stock based with various timers. It was nice to see these and I don't think I ever had a match where I was like oh this is too short or will be boring. The one problem I will say is that all of this, these rules and such should have still been under a for fun option. If you want a 1 versus 1 with no items etc, I think that may prove to be a bit of a challenge in this game online. I haven't tried yet but it seems it will be much more difficult than easily getting one in for glory in the last game. They still should have separated them. Maybe an update in the future? Even so I am liking the chaos and fun of the party aspect of the game and if no updates do come the serious side of 1 vs 1s may have to come from friends or public lobbies set up for the 1 vs 1s(which this is how a lot of other fighting games do it anyway).

Ness seems pretty good in this one.

I kind of figured.

You mean the challenger battles? Some of those are tough. Much tougher than past games.
-
I mean like more than 4 player battles. You can go up to 8 player smash locally but I don't know how high you can go online.
-
I see sohadow, can the lobbies only go up to 4 player smash?
-
Leave it to nintendo to make steps forward and back.

I was wondering if that was what you were doing.

Anybody want to play in a little bit?

I don't think it matters. I was just leaving the difficulty on default and when a challenger appeared sometimes they were not so bad and others times I was getting beat up. Sheik took me three tries. She was flipping around everywhere. I will say I noticed the ai doesn't like projectiles. So I started using Link to beat them. They would air dodge and stuff every time I'd throw something even if it was nowhere near them, it really messed with the ai. They also clouldn't dodge all of it and that combined with it messing them up made hits easier. The tougher ai opponents go right after you very aggressively. These got hit a lot by projectiles.

I went ahead and unlocked everyone. Some of the challengers were actually a bit tough and I lost a few times.
-
I got the game. Unlocking people now. Alternating between the 10 minute matches to get money and other faster way that involves resetting the game. So I can get some money and unlock characters quickly but not too quickly.

We did it, it was fun times.
