Watch Demarco & Co. double-up on Gundam instead for 2 weeks by moving AOT S2 to 11 PM in June replacing Samurai Jack and starting IBO S2 at 12:30 concurrent with the last 2 episodes of Unicorn at 2 AM! Question is: what happens then with JoJo: Stardust? There's no way that could start at 2 AM--is there?

Yeah, I sure didn't see that happening! We already know how Hunter, Shippuden, and Ghost did last week: 0.36/715K; 0.26/514K; and 0.27/508K, respectively. It seems One Piece may not have been the problem; but rather 2:30 AM. At this point, we now know the 12-3:30 average, 704K, which is ranked 9th of the 14 weeks so far this year. It is also the first to be below the average (the 8th ranked week was above average). Poor hapless Gundam Unicorn might even benefit from that with its final 7 episodes!

Well, the last two episodes of JoJo air on the block this Saturday night, exactly 6 months after the premiere, so of course [as] takes the opportunity to refresh our memories with Episodes 11-20, the mainstay of the Battle Tendency arc, right? Nope, instead we get Dimension W. Granted, I haven't been able to listen to this show while I've had my new phone speaker, and I think last time it streamed was the week of Thanksgiving, so I haven't watched it on my new laptop either, but I was really hoping for JoJo. Guess I'll just have to watch the episodes on my own if I want to do a "refresh" marathon, but they might not even be available all the way through. I'll let anyone wanting to watch 11-12 know if they're streaming on [as] by Wednesday, but I think one reason they don't stream as much is limited bandwidth. It's one reason I wish they would farm out the Toonami shows to Toonami's website, but that might not even deal with the bandwidth issue since it's on the same server. Anyway, I do still have FUNimation NOW, so if I wish I can watch 11-12 there. Hell, this might be the week I try to catch the unaired 13th episode somehow...

They take a bit longer but they do a good job and don't translate any of the on-screen Japanese text, which is hella annoying because JJBA is FULL of on-screen Japanese Text! It's lazy, and it's completely ironic since their main division is manga translation! I'd say the ratings would be higher if people weren't scratching their heads about what the hell it means! Maybe this will actually be fixed for Stardust though?

And yet somehow it's a DOA show actually getting 52 11-minute episodes! I think there's some kind of a "shareability" between CN and [as]; after all, that's how we got Beware The Batman, Sym-Bionic Titan, and Thundercats, as well as I believe old Samurai Jack. In those cases, owned by Turner seems to be owned by Turner. We also know there was a "shareability" between TCM and CN when they acquired the Month of Miyazaki in 2006. I think a lot of it depends on the fate of Tokyo Ghoul, or what Toonami would acquire just to air at 2 AM. If Ghoul is headed to 2 AM after its first season (Not sure what the hell they'd air at 2 AM for 2 weeks after Gundam Unicorn ends but work with me), then JLA might not be a bad candidate, doubled-up, for 2:30 AM, if it can pull a "Star Wars: The Clone Wars", sorta like the first season did with a Midnight rerun back in 2009 on [as]. One thing's for certain, I'd be a HELL of a lot more likely to follow it there, and it would be a free way to get some DC action back on Toonami for the first time since the Bat-Blowout for Beware The Batman in 2014.

But of course! They haven't switched that up since like, ever! Anyhoo, glad you finally got it later in the night!

Again, why would that affect Easter Saturday? I don't see it happening! The only show that won't be seen next week is Tokyo Ghoul. Now we DO have to wait 2 weeks for THAT, BUT for a DAMN good reason! [not rick and morty]

Why on earth would Easter affect Toonami? It hasn't the past 4 years, so I don't expect it the 5th!
