  1. FLYING LOTUS did the score. Toonami has this one on lockdown!
  2. Well, I'm keeping an open mind about it... ...but PLEASE for the love of GOD, NO MORE building up to a thrilling conclusion with the next-to-last episode, then pulling a swerve and DOING SOMETHING ELSE ENTIRELY DIFFERENT with the last! FINISH WHAT YOU START, new season! That's all I ask!
  3. Oh, you better believe they're going after that!
  4. Weird; not even FLCL? And that's not even true; the FUNimation panel mentioned all their Toonami shows!
  5. No advancement for Gundam Unicorn. Looks like it's gonna be 1-5 all week.

  7. More numbers: http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-saturday-cable-originals-network-finals-9-30-2017.html "On Adult Swim, the line-up was as follows: in primetime, the DRAGON BALL episodes were up 0.01 to 0.22/600K and up 0.04 to 0.34, while in late-night, they were down 0.01 to 0.41 and down 0.06 to 0.36/779K, JOJO’S BIZARRE ADVENTURES fell 0.08 to 0.26 (incorrect; chart lists it correctly as 0.28), TOKYO GHOUL was down 0.04 to 0.28, HUNTER X HUNTER rose 0.03 to 0.26/603K, LUPIN THE 3RD was up 0.05 to 0.25, NARUTO was up 0.04 to 0.25/519K, OUTLAW STAR climbed 0.05 to 0.23/470K, COWBOY BEBOP was up 0.03 to 0.21/444K, and ATTACK ON TITAN ticked up to 0.18/418K." Oddly enough, no total viewer number for the 11 PM Dragon Ball Super yet this week. 8. It's Tuesday, so did Toonami finish off September right? Well, sort of... http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-saturday-cable-originals-network-finals-9-30-2017.html 9/30/2017 Dragon Ball Super (8:30) #12 (+7) Adults 18-34 Rating - 0.38 Estimated 18-34 - 258,000 ( 33.59% ) Adults 18-49 Rating - 0.34 Estimated 18-49 - 436,000 ( 56.77% ) Total Viewers - 768,000 9/30/2017 DBZ Kai: Final Chapters #10 (STEADY) Adults 18-34 Rating - 0.44 Estimated 18-34 - 299,000 ( 38.38% ) Adults 18-49 Rating - 0.36 Estimated 18-49 - 462,000 ( 59.31% ) Total Viewers - 779,000 9/30/2017 JJBA: Stardust Crusaders - #19 (-6) Adults 18-34 Rating - 0.33 Estimated 18-34 - 224,000 ( 36.54% ) Adults 18-49 Rating - 0.28 Estimated 18-49 - 359,000 ( 58.56% ) Total Viewers - 613,000 9/30/2017 Tokyo Ghoul - #18 (STEADY) Adults 18-34 Rating - 0.36 Estimated 18-34 - 245,000 ( 40.63% ) Adults 18-49 Rating - 0.28 Estimated 18-49 - 359,000 ( 59.54% ) Total Viewers - 603,000 9/30/2017 Lupin the 3rd - #26 (+4) Adults 18-34 Rating - 0.33 Estimated 18-34 - 224,000 ( 42.91% ) Adults 18-49 Rating - 0.25 Estimated 18-49 - 321,000 ( 61.49% ) Total Viewers - 522,000 That's actually pretty huge for Lupin. Its highest 18-34 so far was 0.35, which means this is the 2nd highest! Still, nothing above 300K 18-34 or 500K 18-49 is pretty frustrating.
  9. But they won't air on Toonami, and Tokyo Ghoul HAS! But seriously, if I was Demarco and co., I would have skipped over TG for MHA! (Even if that means Gundam IBO S2 would have temporarily replaced DBZ KFC instead)!
  10. And my point was that everything big starts out small. With a little bit more effort, the weekday stream could be huge. Now? Probably has about 100 people watching at any given time (NOT counting app streaming), but at one point when they still showed number watching, Kill la Kill was up to almost 500. That's nothing compared to on-air ratings, but still significant.
  11. It's certainly a bunch of randomness that appears to have no correlation to what's aired on TV, and sometimes even detracts from it. (AOT S2 marathon of Episodes 1-5 before AOT S2 on-air marathon was probably a bad call, for example). But to see it being used more effectively would be a welcome change. Still, I guess it gets the narrow win this week because at least it's Gundam. Hopefully Gundam IBO S2 doesn't start out cold and actually sort of re-introduces us to the world of Gundam IBO, especially for new viewers who just started watching Toonami.
  12. They COULD have showed the last 5 episodes of Gundam IBO S1, which to my knowledge have not yet aired on the weekday stream. But instead we get the FIRST 5 episodes of Gundam Unicorn (again). I'm not even optimistic that they're moving on to the next 5 on Wednesday night this time, since they haven't done that in over a month. This is such a shame after what seemed like a coordinated effort between Toonami on-air and the Toonami stream to move episodes 6-10 of the rerun of Attack on Titan Season 2 to the Marathon stream and keep Toonami at 4.5 hours. Don't get me wrong; I'm glad that didn't happen, and we still got 6-10 rerunning on-air, with Toonami expanding to 5 hours. But if they could do that, and have that final run of KLK's 2nd arc on the stream back in February, then I thought maybe they could at least use the stream to re-introduce us to Gundam IBO's characters, but I guess I thought wrong. Gundam Unicorn it is, which at least re-introduces us to Gundam after a long time, so enjoy.

  14. And of course AOT S2's potential was pretty much wasted because it aired at 12:30. It should have gotten directly after Family Guy, beginning on April 1, and bumping Jack to a July start. Oh, and that disaster that happened on 4/1 didn't help either!
  15. Wrong show. You should have done this for Gundam Unicorn with actual unicorns!
  16. Wow, that is absolutely amazing, obvious, and yet I hadn't considered it before! Offhand, I'd say you're right. Marcel was his name, right? I wonder how he would have factored into the plan by being able to use his Titan-shifter abilities. And it also seems to confirm that humans who are transformed into Titans have to eat other Titan-Shifters to be able to Titan-Shift themselves back into humans again? If that's the case, then Eren just got lucky, since if the digestion were completed, there would be a Santa Claus Titan shifter instead. It also begs the question as to why Marcel couldn't transform inside Ymir like Eren did, but then again we already know Eren is special even among Titan-shifters!
  17. Yeah, thanks for bringing back #GundamIBO for Season 2 to replace this! applause
  18. Good night! Hope you don't miss Gundam IBO S2 next week!
  19. Dat foreshadowing... And another great night of Toonami comes to an end...well, for the east coast at least!
  20. Indeed! "Say something, Old Lady!" Conny, do you know something we don't...
  21. EPISODE #35: "Children" This also makes me wonder if Christa is a Titan shifter too... ...but I guess not. It appears that the only 3 wayward Titan shifters were Ymir, Annie, and Eren.
