Oh good grief. Would G Gundam really be THAT bad?? Or maybe something like Origin or Thunderbolt. Not all Gundam is a confusing mess like Unicorn, though somehow after half-watching the first 5 episodes ad-nauseum for 2 weeks I kinda understand the series better, and am looking forward to NT's eventual theatrical run. Also, nobody's mentioned it yet, but I believe there might be more to this deal than meets the eye. I believe that this is a precursor to a simuldub of Season 2 airing on Toonami next year! If there were ever a time to limit the marathons to get there faster, it's now. But I'm sure we'll still get 3 'thons in what's left of 2018, which means Toonami will likely air 7 episodes of MP100 season 1. Then 4 episodes in January, 1 in February, and we'd be at Season 2 by the 2nd Saturday in February. Moreover, it occurs to me that if S2 is also 12 episodes long, that's a perfect precursor to AOT S3 Part 2 in May!

I want Gundam back as much as the next guy but I guess that's gonna have to wait for a while. I'd say SSSS.Gridman has priority over Gundam right now, though I'll bet the plan now is to just let Megalobox replace AOT on November 17th. But IF it's not ready then, ????

Toonami lost markedly from Road Chip to DBZ Kai in total viewers and Adults 18-49, and also lost slightly in every hour, but at least the Ninja hour beat the movie in key demos on average.

This isn't really "news". We've known about Hulu's deal with Viz for Sailor Moon for a while. The thing is, wasn't My Hero Academia ALSO in a contract with Hulu? And where is that now?? But yeah, DeMarco isn't gonna let Klaxosaurs anywhere near Toonami, and we can all be thankful for that!

That's complete crap--there's no reason why whatever ends up there can't be moved down if it's still going. Also, Megalobox COULD be coming December 1st. There are instances where a show has been announced for a given month but ends up premiering a bit earlier in the past. See, for examples, SAO and Blue Exorcist.

Part of me is kinda curious at whether or not DBZ Kai grew on Road Chip in 18-49 and other key demos, since Road Chip was apparently a rerun. These movies have obviously failed to provide a decent lead-in to Toonami, so now it's Regular Show Halloween's turn...

With Attack on Titan going on mid-season hiatus, I'd say there's actually a pretty decent chance this will hit Toonami in December, even if it's not a dub premiere!
