  1. Yeah, they lost it in February 2017. They did stream the last 9 episodes on the Marathon Stream as a sendoff though.
  2. Turns out I missed a couple: Season 5 of Samurai Jack got a couple of marathons, plus My Hero Academia Season 1 got a marathon. Dragon Ball Super doesn't make the list because it's somewhat undefined what constitutes a "season" of DBS. Theoretically we are still in Season 1! There have been marathons but they don't cover a whole season by far.
  3. Seriously, what IS the "shit" count at this point since the beginning of the marathon!?! I think it's either 2 or 3 in this episode..
  4. Damn, it's only 1 AM CT, and I've had 7 beers since 5:45...
  5. ALL HAIL QUEEN HISTORIA!!!! She's the queen we need, AND the queen we deserve!!
  6. YEAH, ROD'S GOT GUTS!! Or at least, his TITAN does!!!
  7. And Rod Reiss becomes a gigantic pile of shit...
  8. HISTORIA REJECTS THE TITAN FORM!!!
  9. DON'T TRY TO FUCK WITH MIKASA!
  10. What's the "Shit" count up to tonight?? I'm at 2 so far for Episode 6...
  11. Uhhh, anyone here ever forget how to shit? Yeah, I didn't think that was really a thing..
  12. Yeah man, we're a skeleton crew... ...just like Eren's Titan right cheer...
  13. No one's buying it. Just like Brian Kemp...
  14. Yeah, not really surprised...
  15. Hey there! The Blazers may have faltered, but the Scouts shall not!
  16. This thread needed this...
  17. You're probably right about that! Meanwhile, Dimension W has the interesting distinction of being the only 12-episode series, season, or stand-alone half-season (that includes AOT S3A) never to get a marathon or a rerun on Toonami. I'm willing to bet Mob and MegaloBox will next year.
  18. Thought it might be a good idea to make a thread of all the shows in which at least one full season has gotten a rerun on Toonami, or will rerun on Toonami, and it IS a pretty exclusive club! Deadman Wonderland Cowboy Bebop Ghost In The Shell FMA Brotherhood IGPX Sym-Bionic Titan FLCL Attack on Titan (All 2.5 seasons) Kill la Kill Parasyte -the maxim- One-Punch Man Samurai Jack (Season 5) FLCL Progressive My Hero Academia (Season 1) FLCL Alternative Lupin the 3rd Part 4 Pop Team Epic I was pleasantly surprised at the time to be able to add Lupin, PTE, and Gundam to this list. Never thought when they were premiering that Toonami would dare to rerun them. Another shocker at the time was that Akame ga KILL!! was snubbed over Parasyte, though Parasyte IS the better show! Let me know if I've missed anything! EDIT: Unfortunately, I have had to remove Gundam IBO Season 2 from this list, because it was discontinued on February 9th, making it officially the first rerun that hasn't been allowed to reach its season ending in 4 years.
  19. You want Off-Topic? I got yer off-topic: FOOTBAWL! Alabama and the Citadel TIED with 10 a piece in the first half!!
  20. What's its competition? I think if Madagascar starts off the night well, it will do fine. Granted, half of America will probably be watching competing College Football games (including myself) in the early stages, but later at night more will be watching. Besides, the MHA marathon way back on 9/1 actually did better later in the night. That's the effect of marathons--they start off lower but don't seem to fall as far.
  21. Sadly, they're probably losing the rights to Unicorn in a few weeks. I doubt they got any of the Gundams on more than a 2-year deal, and that's why we're seeing IBO Season 2 instead of Unicorn. Still, DAMN will Toonami have some SERIOUS variety in its 10 shows that are neither Dragonball or Narutoverse this winter! Those give martial arts power craziness and ninjas, but as for everything else? Superheroes? Check. Supernatural? Check. Sports? Check. Stands? Check. Wizardry? Check. Espionage? Check. Titans? Check. Really stupid comedy? Check. Gundams? Check. And last, but certainly not least, a wandering Samurai? BIG CHECK! Also, it's kind of interesting that once upon a time Lupin replaced Gundam Unicorn, and now Gundam IBO replaces Lupin! Lastly, I predict we'll get the regular lineup on December 22nd, but there will be a marathon of both of the new FLCL seasons on December 29th!
  22. Hey, I'm just telling you what Google Translate says! I guess this is "the Manga thread" then??
  23. FLCL was out of here as of Monday night, and DBZ Kai The Final Chapters' next-to-last 5 episodes took its place. I'll be SHOCKED if they don't advance to the last 5 tonight!
