  1. Actually, that is not a bad theory. After all, the item never said anything about them being brought back to the playing field in which they were resurrected. And I guess there's no way SHE would have known what the hell happened! Kirito's NerveGear malfunctioning is more consistent with what actually played out in the anime, so even though that's total deus ex machina, it's not a bad explanation.
  2. Eh, it just makes more sense for Klein to have secretly used the item offscreen in the anime. I'm going with that. ALL HAIL TRUE HERO KLEIN!!!
  3. It's officially Christmas Day now, and there has been no change to the stream. We've still got Gundam Unicorn Episodes 11-15. Such a shame they couldn't manage to replay the whole thing on the stream, but it looks like they're just gonna keep playing these 5 episodes endlessly until the new year.
  4. I haven't read the dumb comic, but I couldn't glean from the article that she wasn't already pregnant before Sidious' meddling. As dumb as midichlorians are, at least that set up a pseudo-scientific basis for the force, which STILL wouldn't be able to bring a life into being on its own. Though if this IS true and he actually managed to fertilize an egg with something other than sperm (as also happened with Jesus), this also implies that Anakin wasn't quite human, but HALF human HALF midichlorian, and then Luke and Leia would be Quarter midichlorian. But then again, Jesus was both 100% God and 100% Man, so I GUESS the same could apply to Anakin?
  5. I think, unlike that weirdness that ensued with the Daughters of Aku in Season 5 of Samurai Jack, the implication here isn't that she was impregnated by Sidious, but that he merely imbued the baby already inside Shmi's womb with The Force, which means we STILL don't know who the father is... *Paging Dr. Povich…*
  6. EPISODE 91: "Which Universe Will Learn Their Place? The Mighty Warriors Gradually Assemble!"
  7. Hey dumbass commercial, you might also wanna mention Samurai Jack is 8 PM every weeknight? Also, I have a CRAZY feeling in 13 weeks it will be replaced by My Hero Academia...
  8. Oddly enough, "Mystic" Gohan is the PERFECT match for "Divine Kaio Ken Super Saiyan Goku!"
  9. 11. Then we've got the "usual" lineup of Pop Team Epic, Gundam IBO, and Samurai Jack!
  10. Ok, now that the bizarrely pervy Yurin saga's out of the way, we're in the home stretch, with the last 2 episodes of the marathon! First is Episode 90...
  11. Well, no advance for Gundam Unicorn. We're stuck with 11-15 all weekend, and Toonami's probably losing the rights to it afterward.
  12. I'll probably be watching some but not all. I have high hopes that this will do better than the regular lineup has been doing lately, but not by much. Of course we won't know HOW it does until Wednesday or Thursday, because Tuesday is Christmas.
  13. Open your stocking THIS SATURDAY NIGHT for a special gift from Santa TOM (5): 15 back-to-back-to-back episodes of Dragon Ball Super!!! He comes down your chimney into the TV at 9, just like every Saturday night in 4Q '18, but this time he ain't leaving until 4:30 AM! Only TOONAMI!!
  14. I think it may actually be in the same vein as Mob Psycho 100: a Crunchyroll production/license distributed by FUNimation. Let me check and see if it's still on VRV.... Edit: it is, and indeed so is Mob Psycho 100, but ONLY subtitled. Hmmm...
  15. Yeah, guess I was! But this is something I've been thinking about for a while.
  16. The first two fail because there were same-night repeats early in their respective runs. I would have included Shippuden but for one thing: the April Fool's Day 2018 stunt. I'm not sure if that counts or not.
  17. Well, what do you know? We're STILL gonna have 7 hours of animated action on [as] on Saturday nights, but only 6 will be part of Toonami. I think double Family Guy may beat Dragon Ball Super premieres at times, but that's fine. DBS has already proved itself incapable of carrying the night on its own. Interestingly enough, at one point in time, the schedule had FG at 8:30 and 11. Now those slots will be occupied by Dragon Ball Super.
