Before the penultimate episode of Season 3, let's watch the next-to-next-to-last episode! First, we enter Grisha's world beyond the walls with a special encore of Episode #57 (Season 3, Episode 20): "That Day". But then, it's time for the night's main event at Midnight: Episode #58 (Season 3, Episode 21): "Attack Titan" [Not the most creative title, eh?] It all kicks off at 11:30 after a dub premiere of Dragon Ball Super! ONLY TOONAMI!

Boy, it would have been horrible timing and SUPER tone-deaf if Toonami had aired a show like Fire Force tomorrow, wouldn't it? But my feeling was I thought it was about fire FIGHTERS, not fire STARTERS. Now for them to air the 2nd episode of FLCL tomorrow, THAT would have been tone-deaf! [but you can stream it now...]

Good grief. I'm pretty sure the rumors of it being "shitcanned" beyond episode 2 must be GREATLY exaggerated! I mean, if it was, then "#SaveFireForce" would be a thing, but it's not! And why the hell would they run AOT in its place? I came up with a proposal to soften the blow, leave Fire Force on the block, AND send MHA fans off happy, but no one ever "listens" to me!

Well, if this DOES become an issue, it might be a big chance for MHA to get further up the schedule, as Fire Force goes prematurely into reruns of Episodes 1 & 2 after Gundam on August 10-17, then hopefully that would be long enough for Episode 3 to air on August 24th, which would directly replace the final episode of MHA. I don't know what's gonna happen on August 3rd, but somehow I still believe AOT MIGHT get reruns at 3:30 AM, pushing MHA and Gundam up, and expanding Toonami to 10:15 PM with the premiere of gen:LOCK in a 45-minute timeslot, which would swap spots with Dragon Ball Super the following week when it trims down to 30 minutes. If that's the case, then Fire Force would have its 2-week encore at 3 AM instead. After MHA ends, Toonami would be probably be permanently shifted back to 10:30-3:30 on August 24th, with DBS leading the charge in prime time. But I realize that's a LOT of speculation, even for me. It IS one way to deal with the potential delay and send MHA and its fans home happy though!

I agree, but unfortunately it won't be getting an earlier timeslot anytime soon, UNLESS either something moves down or gen:LOCK pulls Toonami into prime time!
