I have mixed feelings about this. It does seem that the quality is up a notch from the April Fool's gag of a first season, but if they were always going to do this, why not grant the first season Toonami bumpers?? Also, Ass Class is kicking ass at 1 AM. Why mess with that!?

Interesting--maybe we really ARE getting a special BC-less Toonami on 10/17?? I'd just double-up Fire Force. That seems like a no-brainer to me! I think Fire Force Season 2 getting stuck at 1:30 AM would suck but it's certainly not out of the question. I think it might actually be wiser for Toonami to give Black Clover a break until 2021. Many of us have been assuming Fire Force would take JoJo's place but I don't think that's a foregone conclusion anymore. SAOAWOU2: Electric Boogaloo is floating out there somewhere in the ether, and it would probably be great to bring in at 12:30 on November 7th, which would replace JoJo (assuming Halloween Ass Class marathon), while Fire Force Season 2 would replace Black Clover until 2021, Demon Slayer would move up to 2 AM (or 2:30 with Shippuden at 2), and a new rerun would begin at 3 on 10/24.

I think it's hilarious that this thread somehow only made it to 2 pages, and about half the posts were just elfie and AF14's back-and-forth pillow talk, but I guess that's also because I actually had the misfortune of crashing before JoJo last night. But I did just watch the episode, and I enjoyed it, though it has to be the one that took bizarre to an all-new level, and I also really liked the shadow aspect of Chariot Requiem, and how Emperor Crimson figured out how to beat him! I don't think it will be stuck at the butt-end for long. I can easily see it moving up to 2 AM when Fire Force inevitably moves up, likely to replace JoJo, for Season 2. Still, boy am I glad this awesome show is getting a rerun! Maybe they'll replace it with Gundam: The Origin reruns at 3 if it DOES move up?? Nah, probably FLCL Progressive.
