Jason Demarco Toonami faithful podcast interview
OwlChemist81 replied to CountFrylock's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
Well, it's also the fact that MHA has its DUB streaming before it airs on Toonami. Too bad AOT, which was not similarly hamstrung, just couldn't maintain its popularity, or maybe its popularity was more toward the subtitled version? I still argue maybe it should have gotten midnight, but 12:30 feels right for MHA for some reason. -
Yeah, it pretty much WAS just a really off week. http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-saturday-cable-originals-network-finals-4-24-2021.html While there was some decay in the 18-49s throughout the night, as well as total viewers, the 18-34s were solid, varying only by 0.02 throughout the night, and all Toonami premieres beat Final Space in that classic [as] target demo. I think a 0.15 correlates to about 100K if I remember correctly. Not bad for 2021. Also, it seems that in 18-34, the UFC Fight Nights may be more detrimental to Toonami than PPV Prelims. Top Rank Boxing following that just barely dug into DBS but still apparently was bested by it in 18-34.

Yasha-Hime would make a decent replacement for DBS. Wonder if DeMarco's considered that? Maybe it will be available to Toonami by the time this current rerun of DBS ends. -
Tickets bought online are more expensive because the "online convenience fee" has to be used to pay the cost of the web hosting or franchise fees to be able to use something like Fandango. My ticket was $16.50, but I may be able to see it a 2nd time for only $5 if it's still in theaters in mid-May. At least at this point since it was such a huge success, it will be possible to watch the season finale this week on Toonami, then go to the theater on Sunday and see the movie!

Itachi basically forced Kabuto to stop it or else be stuck in the Izanami's infinite loop. The only way Kabuto moves forward in time is if he turns it off.
