I want to be reincarnated in a similar construct as the one I am in now. Male body, modern western world, anime, 2-D sex, etc. Only this time no mental illness or any other physical problems. Fear of the unknown is a human pain we all have to live with and a healthy one- so is the Ecstasy of combat, its like that scene in Trigun (I forget which one) Vash is talking to either Legato or that other samurai dude and there is this really vague cryptic message like... well its like this.. you feel high almost off existence even though its filled with fear and doubt- but not excessive pain like cancer or mental illness or anything like that. Enlightenment itself is apathy so this contradicts the above and is also a problem of existence. I'd like to live about 120 years healthy in a good physical body with no old age. There is no point in living too long cause you will get bored or go insane.. like I might be cool coming back as a vampire or something that lives for like 500 years and roams the earth- longevity could prove pointless though. Anyways I don't think there is any God, I don't think there is any afterlife or anything, life on earth (or if you are enlightened and you don't believe in the concept of earth only "the void") then you still accept a soulless existence. Even Buddhists don't believe in a soul. Some Buddhists don't even believe in re-incarnation (technically none of them do once you understand the religion). So since we are all going to nothing anyways this whole conversation is pointless.

Its a great sci fi big battle robot anime. Also the last few episodes remind me of depersonalization, spiritual enlightenment and the author's struggle with mental illness. There are some other dark and deep themes as well.

Makes you wonder just what her and shinji/the rest of the nerve staff was really doing when not training to fight angels. ;D ;D
