I have the same issue in the Mustang... and of course there is no actual grip in any gear. i had my car up to 120 in third but real speed was about 40 when I took int through snow.
Then I got a Jeep ZJ with part-time/full-time 4x4 and that bitch would eat Quattros up in the snow

I had a friend who was in a rollover crash into a telephone pole and the vehicle landed upright in a field... The cop knew that she wasn't wearing her seatbelt just by looking at the car.
No questions asked, the officer just looked at her and said "Had you been wearing your seatbelt, you would have died." and continued on with his work.
The club I'm in doesn't really go for snobbery toward any kind of Jeep... hell we have a couple KL Cherokee, Patriot, Compass, and Renegade owners that are cool. I'm even pushing it by soon grabbing an AMC Eagle but people love the idea!
