Derackthehunter Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 Unplugg whatever it is and take a flathead screwdriver and lift up the tab at the bottom of the socket. If it's too far down it might not be making the connection it needs too.
Mini_ghost420 Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 ~knocks a bunch of random stuff off a coffee table~ it still has a breaker box somewhere! tell your landlord to go look at it
Mini_ghost420 Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 if there was no breaker box, you'd have no electricity
Derackthehunter Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 ooooo that tab yea nvm I can actually unplug it completely from the house if I take the whole thing out I can try that Please update.
scoobdog Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 It's an apt By code, the circuit breaker branch panel for your apartment must be inside or in close proximity and accessible. It might be an older apartment that predates the requirement (which seems highly unlikely since it's an old code), but i can't imagine there being any structure where a tenant does not have the ability to reset her own breakers.
StarPanda Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 No lamps ok, you need an adult so you can fix it
