Apparently Matt Owens straight up went to Watanabe to apologize for Bebop and ask him to serve as an executive producer.

I see this as a two-way street.

On one side, Tomorrow Studios is finding success with One Piece, and the brass at top is willing to make amends for Bebop.

On the other side? They still made the Cowboy Bebop remake, to begin with.

Yeah. Tough call to judge here.
