Maybe they make [as] its own channel, maybe they port most of its shows to Comedy Central and the Paramount Network gets Common Side Effects... the usual corpo BS.

They already ejected the linear channels last month.  But it would leave them high and dry with no source of programming.

Oracle Corp. will recreate the algorithm and provide data security for a new US version of TikTok following the forthcoming sale of the popular Chinese-owned social media app to US investors, Bloomberg reported on 22 September.

Citing a White House official, the financial news outlet wrote that the arrangement seeks to ensure US control of TikTok’s algorithm, which recommends videos and determines what users in the US see on their feeds.

The US government has demanded that TikTok’s Chinese parent, ByteDance Ltd., sell its stake in the US subsidiary of the app.

The Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement has stated that US tech companies, notably Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Cisco, Oracle, and IBM, “are deeply complicit in atrocity (including apartheid and genocide)” for providing cloud infrastructure and AI technologies to the Israeli Ministry of Defense.

Social media companies, including TikTok, employ large numbers of former intelligence officers from Israel’s Unit 8200.

The Israeli government also lobbies social media companies to remove pro-Palestine content, giving Tel Aviv significant influence over content moderation (censorship) decisions at the major US social media platforms.
