OnTheAirOrtiz Posted September 9 Posted September 9 September 1st, 2001. The day that would start a revolution in animation and by proxy, television as a whole. When a Space Ghost could host a talk show. When a group of scientists underwater could have workplace comedy before The Office (US) was even conceived. When an animated show that imagined what would happen if Dr. King wasn't dead would win a Peabody award. When a rag tag trio of fast food edibles would get their own theatrical release. When a programming block could highlight and uplift independent artists through their own record label. When the question "what if your network talked back to you?" could be answered. [adult swim] did all of that and then some, and for that we're forever thankful. Happy Belated Birthday [as], here's to 24 more years of telling kids to get the hell out of the pool. 5 Quote
MasqueradeOverture Posted September 9 Posted September 9 I remember it vividly. The sky was clear and cloudless in a brilliant shade of blue oh wait, wrong day. 2 Quote

Then I guess we'll be the one to do the celebrating. My way was writing a piece for my university newspaper on a 24 year retrospective on [as]. 1 Quote
