No, Emptying trash cans was what I had signed up to do, according to a seniority based bidding process. Somebody else bid for the toilets and so, that was his job, not mine. Quote

The trash gig had me running through the entire casino hotel complex. Various offices, the retail spaces, around the gaming floor, through the convention spaces and more. That's job variety. Rarely boring. Let another guy stare at dirty toilets all evening. Quote

I once had a much different job that didn't involve a casino or a union. So, I just worked as and when assigned. Sometimes, I was on the padding press. Other times, it was the coalator, the reem cutter or just running the postal meter. That job totally sucked ass. It barely paid enough to cover my room rental. But, it was either that or just sleep behind somebody's dumpster. So, I was only there for the paycheck, biding my time until I found a job that paid more. Quote

That all depends on who you ask. Casinos have a nasty habit of getting rid of bad employees before they finish their first year. I've worked through nine department heads and a long parade of different supervisors. I've seen senior management and even ownershilp come and go during my time there. I guess none of them noticed anything wrong. Quote
scoobdog Posted Thursday at 07:46 AM Posted Thursday at 07:46 AM They shouldn’t be wasting time noticing what the fucker who walks behind a half filled Georgia buggy does. As long as you wait until your back of house to finish off the plastic margarita glasses, they could care less. Heck, if it means you’re too busy to stuff your face with someone’s leftovers, they’re all for it. 2 Quote

It feeds their egos and keeps their labor costs at a minimum. Can you successfully navigate that rocky rapid or longer than three decades? Quote

I've never worked for Trump, but that's beside the point - everybody knows that the reason your entry-level job is unionized is because you worked for unscrupulous people in an industry that relishes its own mob roots. What's hilarious is that you're parading yourself like the savant unsung veteran of the janitor wars when all you ever amounted to was a 5'2" cuck. 1 Quote
