molarbear
Just asleep, minding my damn business when out of nowhere I'm awakened by what sounds like the biggest piece of bacon frying, or the largest welder going, or Frankenstein resurrecting his monster in the backyard Then the power went off and I fell back asleep.. for a couple mins until I heard a huge crack of thunder, then I kept thinking of that photo of a toilet that got hit by lightning, then I finally got back to sleep, and then it happened again... and again, and again Apparently there was a "limb" on the lines behind the house from a random small hurricane that popped up this morning anywhoo, everytime the power company thought they had the problem fixed and turned the power back on, the branch would arc the lines out

The_annoying_one
And I imagine the absolute biggest disappointment was to find that there was, in fact, no bacon frying.
