This makes me so happy. It's nowhere near what she - and her family - deserve, but it's so great to see a memorial to someone who saves lives replace a memorial to someone who took lives.

Such disgusting double standards. They let companies patent things that aren't even actual inventions they're "business methods" like convoluted insurance schemes or one-click online shopping, yet they insist that woman's body is and always was public domain. Probably deserves a statue more than any other human being, and if that sounds like exaggeration, read her story. It's amazing.
