I'm tired of re-watching his old stand up for the 50th time...

Man's my current fav...

Who are you guys watching?

He's great. There are a lot of great comics from that class of comics who cut their teeth in Chicago. Pete Holmes, T.J. Miller, and Kumail Nanjiani are a couple favorites of mine from that time and place.

But shit, I'm constantly absorbing comedy of all types so it's hard for me to pinpoint specific guys. John Mulaney is always great. Chris D'Elia is a funny comic but I really like his off-the-cuff stuff, like his podcast and when he's on other people's podcasts. Same with Theo Von.

Jay Larson is a phenomenal storyteller. I also like going back and watching comics that are no longer with us but were amazing, like Patrice O'Neal, Greg Giraldo, and Mitch Hedberg. Going back to Chicago guys, Sebastian Maniscalco is awesome and he's finally starting to really catch on with people.

No one really.....After you watch 10 Netflix specials of hasbeens you get gun shy....I know there is new, fresh talent out there....But you can only watch so many painful bombings on stage before you just take a break.

Yeah, the market is so hungry for stand up it's crazy right now.....it also gets weird if you're one of the guys who isn't getting looked at.....John Cleese took awkward shots at Nicole Byer because Netflix wouldn't pick up his pitch....the resulting "feud" is adorable though

who have you checked out? let me see if I can maybe introduce you to some people

He's been doing well for a while, but he's getting more mainstream coverage lately, which is cool. I'm pretty sure they ran a story on him a few months ago on 60 Minutes, or some such national news show.

I've seen him on late night show for years....long before he did comedians in cars with Seinfeld

I'm posting this because I'm currently fighting against OTC sleep aid and watching a youtube video about the battle of Pelilue

WW2 in color is (pardon my french) the Bee's knees

It really brings out the despair and lack off twinkle in their eyes, huh

Check out the half hours showcase netflix put out under 'The Stand ups' series...there are two seasons now....Nate Bargatze, Deon Cole, Aparna Nancherla, Nikki Glaser, and the aforementioned Kyle kinane are on there
