Raptorpat Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 i dunno about anyone else, but the prep for spatchcocking does save like hours on the cooking part also hot damn this reminded me that i am very very hungry and need to go out to scrounge up dinner
stilgar Posted November 20, 2018 Author Posted November 20, 2018 It cuts the time in half. I have been doing this same thing with Cornish game hens and they take half an hour to cook now and are delicious. Also I invested in some good poultry shears since I broke my scissors last year and cut my hand. 1
Raptorpat Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 i admit we have been taking the easy way out recently by just buying pre-cooked rotisserie chickens but a few chickens and turkeys have been spatchcocked in years past and i will also admit that that probably started because of the word "spatchcock" 1
Codename: Jackass Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 How bad is it that I immediately recognized the hands without even reading the title? 1
